🚨 *POLICE STATION: PASCHIM VIHAR EAST* 🚨

▶️ *BRIEF FACTS OF THE CASE:*

On 01.07.2025, an e-FIR bearing No. 80061940/25, dated 01.07.2025, under Section 303(2) of the BNS, was registered at Police Station Paschim Vihar East in connection with the theft of a mobile phone reported inside an RTV bus.

⏩️ *TEAM CONSTITUTION*

Immeditely a dedicated team comprising HC Narender, HC Mohit  & Ct. Pawan led by Insp. Radhey Shyam, SHO/Paschim Vihar East under the close supervision of Sh. Patil Swagat Rajkumar, ACP/Paschim Vihar was constituted.

▶️ *OPERATION AND INTERROGATION:*

During the course of investigation, the team initiated thorough analysis of CCTV footages from the vicinity of the crime scene, focusing on possible escape routes and likely destinations. Simultaneously, local secret informers were activated to gather intelligence on potential suspects.

Following a credible tip-off regarding the movement of suspects near Nala Road, Meera Bagh, the police team promptly laid a strategic trap in the vicinity. While maintaining surveillance near the bus stop adjacent to the petrol pump on Nala Road, the team spotted two individuals on foot exhibiting suspicious behavior.

On noticing the police presence, the suspects attempted to flee from the scene. However, by the alert and swift response of HC Mohit and Ct. Pawan, both individuals were successfully apprehended after a brief chase.

During their cursory search, one mobile phone was recovered from the possession of Prem Singh @ Gopi and one knife was found with Raju @ Raja. Both items were seized as case property.

The accused persons were arrested and recovered items were seized as case property.

⏩️ *PROFILE OF THE ACCUSED PERSONS:*

1. Prem Singh @ Gopi, R/o Mangol Puri, Age - 58 Yrs. (*Previously having more than 30 involvements in other criminal cases*)

2. Raju @ Raja, R/o Mangolpuri, Age - 27 Yrs. (*Previously having 12 involvements in other criminal cases*)

▶️▶️ *MODUS OPERANDI*

The accused  are habitual offenders involved in theft and pickpocketing. They target public buses, stealing purses, mobile phones and other valuable articles from passengers.

•    01 Stolen Mobile Phones

Further investigation into the case is ongoing.
