The Uttar Pradesh government has transferred four IAS officers. IG Registration Sameer Verma has been removed. Bhawani Singh has been kept on waiting list.
The Uttar Pradesh government has removed Inspector General Registration Sameer Verma late on Thursday night and put him on waiting list. It is believed that this action has been taken in view of the questions being raised about the transfers in the department against the Chief Minister's policy of transparency. The responsibilities of a total of four IAS officers have been changed.

Director (Administration), Medical and Health Services Bhawani Singh Khangarot has also been put on waiting list. At the same time, Amit Gupta, Principal Secretary, Stamp and Registration and Transport Department and Chairman, State Road Transport Corporation has been given additional charge of Inspector General Registration along with the current post. Special Secretary Medical Health and Family Welfare Aryaka Akhouri has been given additional charge of Director (Administration) Medical and Health Services along with the current post
