✳️ *TOTAL 142 GRAMS COMMERCIAL QUANTITY OF PSYCHOTROPIC SUBSTANCE (AMPHETAMINE) & ONE STOLEN MOTORCYCLE RECOVERED FROM THEIR POSSESSION*

       The staff of PS Sarojini Nagar, South West district had arrested two drug peddlers namely *Kailash R/o Greater Kailash, Delhi, Age 33 years & Phoolchand @ Chhotu R/o Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Age 29 years.* With their arrest, total 142 grams commercial quantity of psychotropic substance Amphetamine & one stolen motorcycle recovered from their possession.

*INCIDENT, TEAM & OPERATION:*
           On 13.06.2025, during routine evening patrolling, HC Amarjeet and Ct. Praveen of PS Sarojini Nagar observed two suspicious individuals near Khalsa School, Guru Gobind Singh Marg. On being approached, the duo attempted to hide a black bag and a polythene packet, which were found to contain white crystalline substance suspected to be narcotics. The suspects were identified as Kailash R/o Greater Kailash, Delhi, Age 33 years and Phoolchand @ Chhotu R/o Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Age 29 years. Immediately intimation was sent to SHO/PS Sarojini Nagar, upon which SI Anoop Kumar, along with field staff HC Rajender, HC Ravinder, and NDPS IO kit, reached the spot. A mobile FSL team was called, which conducted field testing of the recovered substance. One transparent zip lock pouch from Kailash containing 106.5g suspected Amphetamine & one transparent polythene knot from Phoolchand containing 35.5g suspected Amphetamine was recovered. It tested positive for Amphetamine, a psychotropic substance under the NDPS Act. A total of 142 grams of Amphetamine was recovered, classified as commercial quantity under NDPS Act. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 208/25 u/s 22(c)/29 NDPS Act was registered at PS Sarojini Nagar, Delhi.
           
  Recovered suspected Amphetamine was seized in Black rexine bag used for concealment. One motorcycle used in transportation of contraband substance was also recovered. During further investigation and interrogation, it was revealed that the motorcycle used in the commission of crime was stolen from Lado Sarai area, and an E-FIR No.  014093/25 u/s 305(b) BNS, PS Saket had been lodged by the registered owner Sh. Sunil Prasad, a government employee.

*MODUS OPERANDI:*
        The accused Kailash revealed that co-accused Phool Chand is the source who procured the psychotropic substance from a Nigerian national. Further efforts are being made to trace the main source. The delivery was coordinated physically without use of phones to avoid detection. Both accused are habitual offenders and had met in Rohini Jail, where they planned to shift from theft to narcotics for higher profit margins.

*PROFILE OF ACCUSED ARRESTED:*
1. Accused Kailash R/o Greater Kailash, Delhi, Age 33 years is previously involved in 20 criminal cases.
2. Accused Phoolchand @ Chhotu R/o Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Age 29 years is previously involved in one criminal case.

*RECOVERY:*
1. Total 142 grams commercial quantity of psychotropic substance Amphetamine.
2. One stolen motorcycle.

*CASES WORKED OUT:*
1. E-FIR No. 014093/25 u/s 305(b) BNS, PS Saket, Delhi.
2. FIR No. 208/25 u/s 22(c)/29 NDPS, PS Sarojini Nagar, Delhi.

       Further investigation regarding source and supply of psychotropic substance is under progress.
