*207 QUARTERS OF ILLICIT LIQUOR RECOVERED FROM THEIR POSSESSION.*

The team of PS Nand Nagri has apprehended two female bootleggers in separate incidents and recovered a total of 207 quarters (105 + 102) of illicit liquor, labeled "For Sale in Haryana Only," from their possession.

One of the apprehended women was previously found involved in 14 cases under the Excise Act.
On 19.06.2025, taking strict action against bootlegging, the vigilant patrolling team of PS Nand Nagri apprehended a female bootlegger, resident of  B-Block, Nand Nagri, near a park area. 105 quarters of illicit liquor (Santra Masaledaar brand), labeled "For Sale in Haryana Only," were recovered from her possession. The accused has a previous record of involvement in 14 case of Delhi Excise Act .

In a separate incident, the patrolling team noticed suspicious activity near Gagan Cinema T-point, where a woman carrying a bag on her head attempted to flee upon seeing the police. She was immediately stopped and searched, resulting in the recovery of 102 quarters of illicit liquor (Santra Masaledaar brand), similarly labeled "For Sale in Haryana Only."

Accordingly, two separate cases under Section 33 of the Excise Act have been registered at PS Nand Nagri.

Further investigation is underway.
