TWO ACCUSED EVADING TRIAL IN SEPARATE CASES OF DEFIANCE & THEFT, TURNED PROCLAIMED OFFENDERS, AGAIN BROUGHT BEFORE THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM - BY TEAMS OF OPERATIONS UNIT & PP SANGTRASHAN, PAHARGANJ, CENTRAL DISTRICT.

•    TWO PROCLAIMED OFFENDERS ARRESTED BY THE TEAMS OF OPERATIONS UNIT & PP SANGTRASHAN, PAHARGANJ, CENTRAL DISTRICT.
•    ACCUSED PERSONS WERE ARRESTED ON THE BASIS OF LOCAL INFORMATION AND MANUAL SURVEILLANCE.
•    ACCUSED PERSNS WERE EVADING THE JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS TO DODGE THE PUNISHMENT.

A special drive against proclaimed offenders is being continuously carried out in the Central District. Two dedicated teams of police officials were constituted which arrested the two Proclaimed offenders namely Amit & Jamuna.

Team & Operation: -     
    The first team, from the Operations unit, comprised ASI Sunil, HC Manish, HC Karnal Yadav, and HC Pardeep. This team worked under the supervision of Inspector Ashish K. Dubey and the overall supervision of ACP Operations Suresh Khunga and successfully arrested proclaimed offender, namely Amit.

The second team, from PP Sangtrashan, PS Paharganj, Central District, comprised SI Bijender Singh (I/c PP Sangtrashan), HC Ramavtar, and Constable Devender. This team operated under the monitoring of SHO/Paharganj and the overall supervision of ACP/Paharganj and arrested proclaimed offender namely, Daya Shankar.

The teams continued to work on technical and manual information to trace the proclaimed offenders: Amit and Daya Shankar. The team visited the residences of the accused persons, but they were not available. The team maintained close monitoring through technical surveillance, and information was also gathered from secret informers.

Operation 1: -

On June 15, 2025, information was received that the accused person, Daya Shankar, was present at his residence. The team from PP Sangtrashan, PS Paharganj, immediately reached the spot, and on the informer's instance, accused Daya Shankar R/o Village - Bhitaha, Police Station - Basgoan, District Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, Age-63 years, was apprehended from his residence.
Upon checking the records, it was found that accused Daya Shankar, was declared a proclaimed offender in case FIR No. 94/2020, U/S 188 IPC, P.S Paharganj, Delhi on 03/07/2024 by the Hon'ble Court of Ms. Richa Sharma, ACJM, Central, Tis Hazari Court, Delhi. Accordingly, the accused person was arrested vide D.D. No. 44A, dated 15/06/2025, U/S 35.1(D) B.N.S.S., PS Paharganj, Delhi.

Operation 2: -

On June 16, 2025, information was received that the accused Amit was present in the area of Kamla Market. Based on this information, the accused Amit R/o Panchshil Colony, Distt-Ghaziabad, U.P., Age-25 years, was apprehended by the team.

Upon checking the records, it was found that accused Amit, was declared a proclaimed offender in case E-FIR No. 022792/2021, U/S 379/411 IPC, P.S - Kamla Market, Delhi on 09/06/2025 by the Hon'ble Court of Ms. Bharti Beniwal, JMFC, T.H.C Court, Delhi. Accordingly, the accused person was arrested vide D.D. No. 26A, dated 16/06/2025, U/S 35.1(D) B.N.S.S., PS Kamla Market, Delhi.

Accused Arrested: -
1.    Amit r/o Panchshil Colony Distt-Gaziabad U.P, Age-25 years.
2.    Daya Shankar R/o Village - Bhitaha, Police Station -Basgoan, District Gorakhpur Uttar Pradesh Age - 63 yrs
