✳️ *THREE DRUG PEDDLERS ARRESTED BY JOINT TEAM OF ANTI SNATCHING CELL & PS KAPASHERA, SOUTH WEST DISTRICT*

✳️ *APPROX 22.5 KG CONTRABAND SUBSTANCE GANJA RECOVERED & SEIZED FROM THEIR POSSESSION*

✳️ *THE ACCUSED ANUJ SAINI & AJAY SHRIVASTAV USED TO SUPPLY THE DRUGS ON DEMAND IN DELHI & NEARBY AREA. THEY USED TO PROCURE IT FROM ONE RAHUL PANDEY FROM LUCKNOW, UP.*

✳️ *MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH TOWARDS MISSION-2027: ‘DRUG FREE DELHI’.*

       The joint team of Anti Snatching Cell & PS Kapashera, South West district had arrested three drug peddlers namely *1. Aunj Saini* R/o Roshan Garden, Najafgarh, Delhi, Age 34 years, *2. Ajay Shrivastav* R/o Bharat Vihar, Delhi, Age 25 years & *3. Ravi Pandey* R/o LDA Colony, Lucknow, UP, Age 28 years. With their arrest, approx 22.5 kg contraband substance Ganja was recovered from their possession.

*INCIDENT, TEAM & OPERATION:*
       A special drive against Drug Peddlers and suppliers is being continuously carried out in the South-West District to make Delhi drug free. Accordingly, a dedicated team comprising SI Kamal Kant, SI Arvind Kumar, HC Rajkumar, HC Dilip, HC Shishram, HC Mukesh, HC Narender, HC Amit Kumar, Ct Ravinder, Ct Bablu and Ct Sunny was constituted under the leadership of Insp. Hari Singh, I/C Anti Snatching Cell and under the supervision of Sh. Vijay Singh, ACP/Operations/SWD. The team was tasked to identify and arrest the criminals with a special focus on nabbing the supply chain of Narcotics Drugs & contraband substances. The team activated the secret informers and staff was deployed in the area to get intelligence about the drug suppliers active in the area.

     On 23.06.2025, Ct. Bablu secret information about two drug suppliers coming to supply drugs in Samalkha, Delhi. Acting upon the information, the team laid a trap & apprehended two suspects on a bike near Main red light Samalkha, Dwarka Link Road, Delhi. They disclosed their name and address as *Anuj Saini* R/o Roshan Garden, Najafgarh, Delhi, Age 34 years and *Ajay Shrivastav* R/o Bharat Vihar, Delhi, Age 25 years. On search, total 3 kg of Ganja was recovered from their possession. They admitted to selling drugs in Panipat and Delhi-NCR. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 261/2025, u/s 20/25/29 NDPS Act was registered at PS Kapashera against the accused persons & they were arrested.

*MODUS OPERANDI:*
         Accused persons have been living in Delhi since childhood and accused Anuj Saini has recently been out from Jail in Chhattisgarh after serving 4.5 years of punishment in Drug case, where he was apprehended with 54 Kg of Ganja. Accused Ajay Shrivastav came in contact with Ajay Saini and both agreed to sell the Drug & Ganja in Delhi-NCR for making good money. Accused Anuj Saini used to procure drugs from one Rahul Pandey from Lucknow, UP, whom he met while he was Jail in Chhattisgarh. The lust of earning effortlessly and easy money ultimately led their arrest along with drugs. Further on their instance, 9 kg ganja was recovered from the house of accused Anuj Saini in Najafgarh, Delhi. Later, 03 days of PC remand of accused Anuj Saini was obtained from the Hon’ble Court to trace the supplier Rahul Pandey from Lucknow, UP. A team was constituted and sent to Lucknow, UP to nab the source of supply, Rahul Pandey. After continuous efforts of two days, on 26.06.2025, the raiding team swiftly and smartly apprehended the accused Ravi Pandey R/o LDA Colony, Lucknow, UP, Age 28 years, who further led to recovery of 10.416 Kg of Ganja from his above residence. He further disclosed that he along with his elder brother Rahul Pandey, who was previously arrested in Drug case in Chhattisgarh, used to supply Ganja to Anuj Saini.

*PROFILE OF ACCUSED ARRESTED:*
1. Accused Anuj Saini R/o Roshan Garden, Najafgarh, Delhi, Age 34 years was earlier apprehended with drug Ganja and came out from jail after serving 4.5 years of punishment. He again started his luck in illegal drug peddling and started to supply the drug in Delhi along with his friend Ajay Shrivastav.
2. Accused Ajay Shrivastav R/o Bharat Vihar, Delhi, Age 25 years came in contact with Anuj Saini and accompanied him in supply of Ganja to earn money effortlessly.
3. Accused Ravi Pandey R/o LDA Colony, Lucknow, UP, Age 28 years along with his elder brother Rahul Pandey used to supply Ganja to Anuj Saini. Accused Rahul Pandey had gone underground after arrest of his younger brother Ravi Pandey and yet to be traced.

*RECOVERY:*
1. Approx 22.5 Kg of contraband substance Ganja (market value of worth Rs 11 Lakh approx.)
2. One motorcycle used to transport the Ganja.

       Further investigation  is under progress.
