⭕ *TEAM OF ANTI-BURGLARY CELL, DWARKA DISTRICT HAS ARRESTED 01 ACTIVE BC OF PS PALAM VILLAGE, WITH RECOVERY OF STOLEN JEWELLERY & MOBILES.*

🔰 THE TEAM ANALYSED CCTV FOOTAGES OF MORE THAN 200 HOURS TO IDENTIFY THE BURGLAR.

🔰 A HUGE HAUL OF STOLEN JEWELLERY & 03 STOLEN MOBILES WERE RECOVERED FROM THE POSSESSION OF ACCUSED.

🔰 ACCUSED HIMANSHU @ POTA IS PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN 20 CASES OF SNATCHINGS, BURGLARY & HOUSE THEFTS.

🔰 06 CASES OF BURGLARY, HOUSE THEFTS & OTHER THEFTS WERE WORKED OUT WITH HIS ARREST.

The team of *Anti-Burglary Cell, Dwarka District* has arrested one active burglar & BC of PS Palam Village, namely *Himanshu @ Pota, age 27 years* and recovered 01 gold chain, 01 gold Mangtika, 01 gold Mangalsutra, 01 gold gents ring, 06 gold nose pins, 04 pairs of gold earrings & 03 stolen mobiles from his possessions.

🟡 *INCIDENT:-*

On 19.06.2025, *complainant Sh. Aslam Ali S/o Mukhtar Ahmad,* R/o Gali No. 14 Mahavir Enclave, Dabri, Delhi reported a case of burglary of gold and silver jewellery from his residence on the intervening night of 17-18.06.2025.

Accordingly, a case vide *e-FIR No. 80058355/2025, U/s 305/331(4) BNS, PS Dabri, Delhi* was registered by local police.

🟡 *TEAM & TASKING:-*

As per the directions of *DCP Dwarka Delhi,* the *Anti-Burglary Cell Dwarka, Delhi* was entrusted with the task of arresting the active burglars involved in high value burglary cases of Dwarka District.

A dedicated team of *Anti-Burglary Cell, Dwarka, Delhi,* under the leadership of Insp Vivek Maindola - I/C Anti Burglary Cell Dwarka, Delhi, consisting of SI Vinod No. 947-D, HC Naresh No. 536/DW, HC Krishan No. 687/DW, Ct. Praveen No 1479/DW, Ct. Subhash No. 981/DW was formed under the overall supervision of Sh. Ram Avtar ACP/Operations Dwarka to execute the directions of *DCP Dwarka, Delhi* and to arrest the burglars involved in the above-said case.  

🟡 *INVESTIGATION:-*

The above-mentioned team responded to the incident and examined the complainant. The team then started analyzing the CCTV Footage and found one masked burglar roaming suspiciously near the residence of the complainant.

The team started following the masked burglar through the CCTV footage and found that there was one more masked burglar who was keeping an eye on the surroundings. The team tirelessly collected and analyzed the CCTV footage continuously for 10 days, during which both the burglars made efforts to dodge the CCTV cameras but the team continued and finally reached Sagarpur, where both the burglars unmasked themselves.

The said footage was shared with the informers, after which one of the burglars was identified as *Himanshu @ Pota an active BC of PS Palam Village Delhi.*

The team then collected vital information about Himanshu @ Pota and activated manual and technical surveillance over the activity of Himanshu, based on which several raids were conducted at his hideout in Sagarpur & Palam area but every time he managed to escape at the eleventh hour.      

🟡 *INFORMATION & ARREST:-*

The continuous work of the team paid off when one of the informers of HC Krishan informed that *Himanshu @ Pota* will come with stolen property to MCD Park, Mahavir Enclave, Delhi at about 05:30 pm.

The team immediately set up a trap at said place. At 05:35 pm, the suspect was intercepted by the team. The road was blocked by the team members, after which *Himanshu @ Pota* tried to escape, but the alert staff nabbed him without giving him a chance.

He was identified as *Himanshu @ Pota S/o Sudama, aged 27 years.*

During his search, 01 gold chain, 01 gold Mangtika, 01 gold Mangalsutra, 01 gold gents ring, 06 gold nose pins, 04 pairs of gold earrings and 03 stolen mobiles from his possessions.

The recovered articles were taken into police possession through seizure memos and the accused were arrested.

🟡 *ACCUSED ARRESTED:-*

- *Himanshu @ Pota S/o Sudama,* R/o Gali No. 07 Mahavir Enclave-1, Palam, Delhi, aged 27 years.

🟡 *INTERROGATION:-*

The accused was interrogated at length and it was found that he was born in Delhi. His father and mother were labourers. He has studied up to class 8th. His father died due to prolonged illness in 2018, after which he left his studies and came into contact with bad elements, due to which he got addicted to smack.

To fund his addiction, he started committing snatchings, burglaries and house theft. He is *previously involved in 20 cases, due to which he was listed as BC by the police of PS Palam Village, Delhi.*

- 20 cases of robbery, burglary and theft.
