In a proactive initiative to ensure the safety and dignity of women in public spaces, the Outer District's Anti-Eve-Teasing team, popularly known as the Shistachar Squad, conducted an impactful outreach campaign near Udyog Nagar Metro Station.

The event was aimed at spreading awareness about the persistent problem of eve-teasing and harassment faced by women, particularly in busy transit zones. Officers from the squad engaged directly with commuters, especially young women and students, discussing the importance of standing up against inappropriate behaviour and encouraging prompt reporting of such incidents.

Through live interaction and community engagement, the squad not only educated the public but also inspired a collective sense of responsibility. The area saw active participation from local vendors, daily commuters and residents, transforming the initiative from a routine awareness drive into a powerful movement for change and empowerment.

The outreach was part of the Shistachar Squad’s ongoing efforts under the Delhi Police’s broader vision of building safer spaces for women and deterring anti-social elements through presence, vigilance, and public involvement.
