In a proactive step towards enhancing women’s safety on public transport, the Shishtachar Squad of Outer District Police conducted a focused awareness drive along Bus Route No. 908 (Narela to Karampura).

During the campaign, the team actively engaged with commuters, distributed informative pamphlets, and sensitized the public about the importance of reporting incidents of eve-teasing, harassment, and inappropriate behavior. Emphasis was placed on educating passengers about legal protections, emergency helpline numbers, and available support systems for women.

The drive was carried out in collaboration with local police units to strengthen vigilance and ensure a secure travel environment, especially for women and vulnerable commuters.

The initiative was well-received by the public and reaffirmed the Outer District Police’s unwavering commitment to building safer and more respectful public spaces.
