🚨 *Shishtachar Squad Conducts Special Awareness Drive for Girl Students at Nagar Nigam Prathmik Balika Vidyalaya, Sultan Puri* 🚨

 

In a dedicated effort to empower  girls and ensure their safety, the Shishtachar Squad of Outer District Police organized a focused awareness program for female students at Nagar Nigam Prathmik Vidyalaya, Sultan Puri.

This initiative is part of Delhi Police’s ongoing campaign to create a secure environment for girl students; both within schools and in public spaces and to equip them with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively to any form of harassment.

👧🏻 *Objective of the Awareness Drive:*

👉 To sensitize girl students about eve-teasing, verbal harassment, unwanted attention and touch-based abuse.

👉 To build awareness of their rights and legal protections.

👉 To encourage them to report any uncomfortable or unsafe experiences without fear.

👉 To empower them with practical safety tips for travel to and from school, especially in crowded or isolated areas.

🎓 *Key Highlights of the Program:*

👉 Interactive Sessions with Girl Students: Officers from the Shishtachar Squad engaged the students in discussions about personal safety, understanding boundaries and how to identify inappropriate behavior.

👉 Role-Plays & Demonstrations: Simple self-defense techniques and safe response strategies were demonstrated, helping students understand how to act in difficult situations.

👉 *Discussions with Teachers & Staff:* The squad collaborated with female teachers and school authorities to ensure that students have safe zones and trusted adults to turn to when needed.

🌸 *Student & Community Response:*

The students actively participated in the sessions, shared concerns and asked questions. Teachers present at the session appreciated the efforts of the Delhi Police in ensuring the well-being and protection of young girls.

The initiative not only educated the students but also reassured them that the police is approachable, supportive and always ready to help.


The Shishtachar Squad continues to prioritize the safety and empowerment of girl students through such focused drives. By nurturing awareness at a young age, the Delhi Police aims to build confident, vigilant and fearless young women who know how to safeguard themselves and others.
