🚨 *POLICE STATION: RAJ PARK* 🚨

In accordance with the directions issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Outer District, all patrolling personnel have been thoroughly briefed and sensitized to maintain  vigilance across their respective areas of responsibility. Emphasis has been laid on proactive policing measures to ensure the maintenance of law and order, as well as to safeguard the safety and security of citizens within the jurisdiction of the Outer District.

▶️ *OPERATION:*

During a routine patrol, Head Constable Chotte Lal and Constable Karamveer of PS Raj Park received a credible tip-off regarding the movement of a vehicle suspected of transporting illicit liquor from Nangloi to Sultanpuri for illegal sale in Delhi.

Acting swiftly on the information, the patrol team proceeded to the specified location and identified a suspicious vehicle matching the given description. Upon noticing the police presence, the driver and a passenger in the vehicle attempted to flee. However, due to the prompt and coordinated response of the patrol team, both suspects were successfully intercepted and apprehended on the spot.

A thorough inspection of the car led to the recovery of 800 quarters and 96 half bottles wine of illicit liquor ( total 20 cartons) all bearing the label “For Sale in Haryana Only.” The driver was identified as Sandeep Sani, and the second person was found to be a CCL.

Subsequently, a case was registered under FIR No.273/2025, under sections 33/38/58 of The Delhi Excise Act at PS Raj Park. Further investigation is underway to trace the source of the illicit liquor and identify other individuals involved in the network

Both the persons including CCL was arrested/apprehended in connection with the case. All the recovered illicit liquor and the car used for the transportation, seized in connection with the case.

Further investigation is ongoing in the case.
