, DELHI - ARRESTED ONE SNATCHER WITH RECOVERY OF SNATCHED MOBILE PHONE AND SCOOTY USED IN CRIME.
•    ONE SNATCHER ARRESTED BY THE STAFF OF PS KAMLA MARKET, CENTRAL DISTRICT.
•    ACCUSED ARRESTED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF INCIDENT THROUGH CCTV ANALYSIS AND LOCAL INTELLIGENCE.
•    SNATCHED MOBILE PHONE AND SCOOTY USED IN THE COMMISSION OF OFFENCE RECOVERED.
•    ACCUSED IDENTIFIED AS A HABITUAL OFFENDER AND INVOLVED IN 10 CASES OF ROBBERY, SNATCHING, THEFT ETC FROM DIFFERENT AREAS OF DELHI.

BRIEF OF THE INCIDENT
On 19.05.2025, a snatching case was registered at PS Kamla Market wherein the complainant stated that around 19.05.2025, while he was walking towards his house and using his mobile phone, one boy came riding a scooty and suddenly snatched his mobile phone from his hand and fled away.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 181/2025, dated 19.05.2025, U/s 304(2) BNS was registered at PS Kamla Market, and investigation was taken up.

TEAM AND OPERATION
A dedicated team led by SI Ashish Rawat and comprising HC Ankush, Ct. Shekhar, and Ct. Naresh Kumar was constituted under the close supervision of SHO/Kamla Market and overall guidance of ACP/Kamla Market.
The team undertook swift technical and manual surveillance and thoroughly examined multiple CCTV cameras installed in and around the scene of crime and probable escape routes. Based on sustained efforts and information from local sources, one suspect matching the description was zeroed down. 
On 20.05.25, basis of local intelligence and surveillance, the team apprehended the accused from Shivaji Park, Bus Stand, Kamla Market.
Upon interrogation, the accused confessed his involvement in the said snatching and disclosed his identity as Toshif @ Tausif R/o Gali Sakko Wali, Shahganj, Ajmeri Gate, G.B. Road, Delhi, Age – 33 Years. Snatched Samsung M-13 mobile phone and one scooty (used in the commission of offence) were recovered from his possession.
