PROCLAIMED OFFENDER WANTED IN ARMS ACT CASE OF PS SEELAMPUR, ARRESTED BY TEAM OF ER-II, CRIME BRANCH, DELHI POLICE.
INTRODUCTION
A special drive was conducted by ER-II, Crime Branch on the directions of senior officers against wanted criminals involved in NDPS, Excise, Arms, and heinous cases. A team from ER-II, Crime Branch arrested proclaimed offender/accused Tarik Ali, S/o Rehmat Ali, R/o Seelampur, Delhi, Age – 45 years, in case FIR No. 237/2021, U/s 25 Arms Act at PS Seelampur. He has been arrested under Section 35.1(d) of the BNSS.
INCIDENT, TEAM & OPERATION
A dedicated team comprising SI Brahampal, SI Rahul, HC Bhupendra, and W/Ct Deepika was constituted to apprehend wanted criminals under the leadership of Inspector Umesh Sati and ACP/ER-II, Crime Branch, and under the overall supervision of the undersigned. SI Brahampal received a tip-off that the accused, Tarik Ali, S/o Rehmat Ali, was secretly residing in the Seelampur area of Delhi.
The team collected information about the accused and spoke to local residents regarding his current whereabouts. During the enquiry, it was found that he had been declared a proclaimed offender in an Arms Act case registered at PS Seelampur. He had been absconding and evading arrest.
The team was searching for Tarik Ali in the New Seelampur area, Delhi. They received information that he would be present in the Seelampur area. With focused efforts and strong coordination, the team successfully apprehended the wanted criminal from Seelampur, Delhi. He was arrested through a kalandara under Section 35.1(d) BNSS.

Educational Qualification: Illiterate, Occupation: Labourer
He had been secretly residing in Seelampur, Delhi.
