PROCLAIMED OFFENDER INVOLVED IN A CASE OF MISAPPROPRIATION OF PROPERTY, ARRESTED BY CRIME BRANCH

    THE ACCUSED WAS DECLARED PROCLAIMED OFFENDER BY THE COURT, IN A CASE OF PS ALIPUR, DELHI.
    THE ACCUSED WAS EVADING HIS ARREST FOR THE LAST ONE YEAR AND TWO MONTHS.
    THE ACCUSED IS PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN A SIMILAR CASE OF HARYANA.

INTRODUCTION:
    The incessant and painstaking efforts made by the team of NR-II/Crime Branch have brought down the curtains of the criminal run of accused named Rahul (age 24 years) S/o Om Prakash r/o Punjabi Bagh, Delhi, who was evading his arrest from police in case EFIR No. 11119/2024, U/s 379 IPC, PS Alipur, Delhi. 
During further investigation of the case, sections 407/411/182/120B IPC were also invoked as the complainant of the case was also found involved in the conspiracy. Rahul was declared PO from the Hon’ble court of Ms. Ruby Neeraj Kumar, Ld. CJM, North District, Rohini Courts, New Delhi vide order dated 08/05/2025.

BRIEF FACTS OF CASE:
On 19/04/2024, complainant Mukesh S/o Deep Chand r/o Alipur, Delhi reported theft of his vehicle bearing registration number DL 1LAB 6212 at PS Alipur, alleging that his vehicle has been stolen from Sonu parking, Village- Hamidpur, Delhi. In this regard, a case vide E-FIR No. 11119/2024, U/s 379 IPC, PS Alipur, Delhi was registered and investigation was carried out. 
During investigation, it revealed that complainant has hatched a criminal conspiracy with co-accused Rahul and they had misappropriated the property i.e copper scrap loaded in the vehicle. The alleged vehicle DL 1LAB 6212 was recovered from Haryana and Mukesh was arrested. 
Later on sections 407/411/182/120B IPC were also invoked. On sustained interrogation, accused Mukesh disclosed name of his associate Rahul S/o Om Prakash r/o Punjabi Bagh, Delhi. Further, despite of best efforts made by local police, Rahul could not be arrested. On 08/05/25, Rahul was declared proclaimed offender from the Hon’ble court.

INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION:
    Keeping in view of gravity of the case, a team led by Inspr. Neeraj Sharma comprising of SI Satender Kumar, SI Yogesh Dahiya, SI Pravir Singh, HC Vinod, HC Pradeep Tomar, HC Ajay, HC Sidhharth, Hc Ajay Pal & HC Pardeep Sheokand, under the close supervision of Narender Singh, ACP/NR-II was constituted. The team worked in a relentless and professional manner.
Local information was collected from the hideouts of the accused. HC Vinod received information about present whereabouts of the accused. The location of the accused was zeroed down near Kirti Nagar Industrial area, Delhi. On 19/06/25, the team conducted raid and nabbed the accused from Kirti Nagar Industrial area. The accused Rahul was arrested in kalandra U/s 41.1(c) Cr.P.C.
         
PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS:

The accused Rahul was married to Chandani in 2014 and he has one son and one daughter from this wedlock. He is previously involved in one criminal case of same modus operandi registered vide FIR No. 188/2024, U/s 407/467/468/471/120B IPC, PS IMT Rohtak, Haryana. He was arrested first time in year 2024. He wanted to earn more money through easy means.
