PROCLAIMED OFFENDER & HABITUAL ROBBER SURESH @ GOLU ARRESTED BY AEKC, CRIME BRANCH
INTRODUCTION

In a meticulously planned operation, the AEKC/Crime team, Sunlight Colony, successfully apprehended proclaimed offender Suresh @ Golu. The arrest was made possible through systematic tracking, intelligence gathering, and advanced mobile surveillance techniques. Suresh @ Golu, son of Pappu, resident of Trilok Puri, New Delhi, aged 30 years, had been declared a proclaimed offender by the Hon'ble Court on 16.11.2024. He was involved in multiple cases of
robbery, theft, and excise violations.
INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION

The accused had been evading law enforcement since the registration of several FIRs. Upon being declared a proclaimed offender, a specialized team from AEKC Crime, led by Inspector Amit Solanki and including SI Arvind Kumar and ASI Talim, was formed under the close supervision of Sh. Naresh Kumar, ACP/AEKC, and guidance of Ms. Apoorva Gupta, IPS, DCP/Crime-I.
The team employed advanced technical surveillance methods including mobile phone tracking (call detail records and location data) and social media monitoring. With persistent tracking, the team successfully
identified his hideout in Trilok Puri, New Delhi, and swiftly moved in to apprehend him.

BACKGROUND AND CRIMINAL HISTORY OF THE ACCUSED
Suresh @ Golu, born in 1994, resides in Trilok Puri, East Delhi. He studied up to the 8th standard in a government school and is currently unemployed. He lives with his parents and a younger brother. be drug-addicted, he has an aggressive and defiant behavior. Due to his continuous criminal involvement, he has been declared a Bad Character (BC) at PS Kalyan Puri. He is a habitual offender involved in robbery, snatching, mobile theft, and excise-related offences. His modus operandi includes stealing mobile phones using his fingers, mostly at night and often while riding a motorcycle. As per available records, Suresh @ Golu has been involved in 28 criminal cases registered at various police stations including Pandav Nagar, Mayur Vihar, Kalyan Puri, Madhu Vihar, Tilak Marg, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Jagat Puri, Geeta Colony, and Ghazipur.
