    ACCUSED WAS EVADING ARREST BY CHANGING HIS WHEREABOUTS FREQUENTLY.
    HE IS WANTED IN TWO DIFFERENT ARMS ACT CASES.
    ACCUSED IS PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN 4 CASES OF ARMS ACT & THEFT

INTRODUCTION:-
A special drive was carried out by ER-II, Crime Branch on directions of senior officers against proclaimed offenders and Parole Jumpers. Team of ER-II, Crime Branch arrested accused namely “Shanu @ Sohail s/o Imamuddin R/o Arvind Nagar, Ghonda, Delhi, age-26 years”. He has been declared proclaimed person in FIR No- 662/2022, U/s-25 Arms Act, PS New Usmanpur, Delhi & NBW is issued against him in Case FIR No-79/2025, U/s-25 Arms Act, PS New Usmanpur. He has been arrested U/s 35.1 (d) BNSS, PS Crime Branch, Delhi.

INCIDENT, TEAM & OPERATION:
On 29/06/22 HC Ranveer No. 1429/NE PS New Usmanpur was on patrolling duty near CNG Pump Shastri Park, Delhi. A person was trying to hide himself; HC Ranveer chased and caught him. A batandar knife was recovered from the possession of suspect whose name was identified as Shanu @ Sahil s/o Imamuddin. A case vide FIR No 662/22 U/s 25 Arms Act was registered at PS New Usmanpur on statement of HC Ranveer. Accused Shanu @ Sahil was facing trial in the concerned court. During the trial, accused Shanu @ Sahil was granted bail. He voluntarily skipped the trial and also changed his address. He was secretly residing in New Usmanpur area.  
A dedicated team comprising of SI Rahul alongwith SI Brahampal, HC Vikash, HC Bhupendra, and W/Ct Mamtesh was constituted to nab the wanted criminals under Inspector Umesh Sati. SI Rahul got information that accused Shanu @ Sohail is secretly residing in the area of Ghonda, North-East Delhi. After that, the team collected details of accused and it was revealed that he has been declared Proclaimed Offender and NBW is also issued against him in two different Arms Act cases of PS New Usmanpur. On 13/05/25, the team successfully nabbed the wanted criminal from Ghonda, Delhi.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS ACCUSED:
Accused Shanu @ Sohail s/o Imamuddin R/o Arvind Nagar, Ghonda, Delhi, age-26 years, has studied up to class 7th class and often drives e-Rickshaw. He was secretly living at Ghonda, Delhi and Kashipur, Utrakhand. He is previously involved in 7 criminal cases including Arms Act & theft etc.
