🔹️ *LOST REKINDLED : POLICE STATION RANHOLA COPS BRINGS JOY TO ELDERLY COUPLE BY TRACING THEIR LOST BAG*
🔹️ *BAG CONTAINING VALUABLES WORTH RS. 4.5 LAKHS PURCHASED FOR SON’S MARRIAGE RECOVERED*
🚨 *POLICE STATION: RANHOLA* 🚨
▶️ *BRIEF FACTS OF THE CASE:*
On 19th May 2025, a PCR call was received at Police Station Ranhola from a senior citizen complainant. He reported that he and his wife had travelled by a TSR (Three-Seater Rickshaw) from New Delhi Railway Station to their residence in Vikas Nagar, Ranhola. After reaching home, they discovered that a suitcase had been inadvertently left behind in the TSR. The suitcase contained valuable goods and luxury items estimated to be worth approximately Rs. 4.5 lakhs.
Subsequently, the complainant immediately approached the police station and lodged a Lost Report under LR No. 2849702/2025, requesting assistance in tracing the unidentified TSR and recovering the missing luggage.
⏩️ *TEAM CONSTITUTION:*
Considering the sensitivity of the case, a dedicated team comprising SI Ramesh, HC Ramesh and Ct. Narender under the supervision of Inspr. Narender Singh, SHO/Ranhola and overall supervision of Sh. Jaipal Singh, ACP/Nangloi was constituted.
⏩️▶️ *OPERATION*
The team meticulously analyzed CCTV footage spanning approximately 20 kilometers, from Vikas Nagar to New Delhi Railway Station, in pursuit of the alleged auto-rickshaw (TSR) involved in the case. Through careful scrutiny of surveillance footage along the entire route, the team identified a specific TSR operating on the same path. The vehicle’s registration number was traced to an individual named Rajesh Kumar. Acting promptly on this lead, the police conducted a raid at the address associated with the registration.
At the location, the police located Rajesh Kumar, who, when questioned about the missing bag, cooperatively handed it over. The bag was returned to the complainants an elderly couple; in intact condition. It contained gold jewelry and luxury items purchased for their son’s upcoming wedding.
The couple expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the police team, whose swift and effective action restored not only their valuables but also their peace of mind. Their smiles and appreciation reflected the dedication and professionalism with which the police handled the case.
