▶️ *BRIEF FACTS OF THE CASE:*

On 10.07.2025, an incident of mobile phone snatching outside RZ-206, near Patanjali Store was reported at PS Paschim Vihar West, where three unidentified suspects riding on a white scooty forcibly snatched a mobile phone from a passerby and fled from  the scene.

Acting promptly on the victim’s complaint, an FIR bearing No. 284/25 under sections 304(2)/3(5) of BNS was registered at Police Station Paschim Vihar West and investigation was initiated immediately.

⏩️ *TEAM CONSTITUTION*

Considering the sesitiyof the case, a dedicated team from PS Paschim Vihar West comprising HC Rajesh, Ct. Hanuman and Ct. Naveen led by Inspr. Devinder Singh, SHO/ Paschim Vihar West under the close supervision of Sh. Patil Swagat Rajkumar, ACP/Paschim Vihar was constituted.  

*⏭️ OPERATION AND INTERROGATION:*

In a major breakthrough, the team of PS Paschim Vihar West launched an intensive technical investigation into the recent mobile snatching case. The investigation centred around a detailed analysis of CCTV surveillance footage from the crime scene and adjoining areas. Over 50 CCTV cameras were meticulously reviewed, successfully tracking the suspects' movements before and after the incident. Simultaneously, the local network of secret informers was activated to generate ground-level intelligence.

After five days of relentless efforts, a credible lead emerged about the suspects' presence in H-Block of Nihal Vihar. Acting promptly, the team conducted a strategic raid at the specified location, where three individuals attempted to flee on spotting the police. However, the alert team swiftly overpowered and apprehended them.

🔹Accused identified as:

*Sahil
*Ishan Khan
*Faraz

Upon sustained interrogation, they confessed the crime mentioned above. At their instance, the white Honda scooty used in the commission of the crime was recovered and seized and on checking found registered in the name of accused Faraz.

Efforts are currently in progress to recover the stolen mobile phone.

✅ All three accused were arrested in the case and the scooty used in the offence was also seized.

This operation reflects the unwavering dedication, sharp investigative skills and excellent coordination of the PS Paschim Vihar West team — once again reaffirming the commitment of Delhi Police to ensure public safety and bring culprits to justice.
