*⏭️ TEAM CONSTITUTION AND OPERATIONS:-*

In a proactive move against organized crime, especially illegal gambling, a dedicated team comprising SI Vipin Kumar, HC Vikas Kumar, HC Upender & HC Shakti of the Special Staff, Outer District, was formed under the leadership of Inspector Rohit, I/C Special Staff, with close supervision by Sh. Jai Parkash, ACP/Operations.

This strategic initiative aimed to strengthen enforcement efforts, enhance local vigilance and ensure swift action against unlawful activities disrupting peace and public order in the district.

*⏭️ OPERATION AND INTERROGATION:-*

On the night of 21th July 2025, the team was on night patrol in Ranhola area to prevent and detect criminal activities. While the team reached in B-Block, Yadav Enclave, Vikas Nagar, received a tip-off regarding some people playing illegal gambling in Gali No. 14, Yadav Enclave.

Acting on the reliable intelligence, the team along with local police staff namely HC Rakesh Kumar, HC Vinod & HC Amit of PS Ranhola conducted a raid at the specified location in B-Block where the staff observed a group of individuals sitting on the ground and they were engaged in illegal gambling. As the police team intervened, the suspects attempted to flee but were quickly overpowered and apprehended eight suspects on the spot.

A thorough search of the area uncovered Rs. 1,02,000/- in cash, which was being used for gambling, along with other gambling articles.

As a result, a case was registered under FIR No. 481/2025 under sections 12/9/55 of The Delhi Public Gambling Act at Police Station Ranhola.

All 08 accused persons were arrested and all recovery were seized.
