*🚨POLICE STATION:  NANGLOI🚨*

As part of the ongoing #नशा_मुक्त_भारत (Drug-Free India) campaign, Outer District Police have intensified their crackdown on the sale and distribution of narcotic drugs under the NDPS Act.

In accordance with the directions from DCP/OD, the patrol staff has been thoroughly briefed and instructed to remain highly vigilant in order to maintain law and order, ensuring the safety and security in the jurisdiction of Outer District.

*⏭️ OPERATION-:*

On 25th July 2025, Head Constable Naveen and Woman Constable Pooja from Police Station Nangloi were on  area patrol duty in Rao Vihar with the objective of preventing and detecting criminal activity.

During patrol, the staff observed a suspicious female carrying a white polythene bag in her hand near Ganda Nala. On noticing the presence of police personnel, the suspicious female attempted to escape. However, the alert Head Constable Naveen, with the assistance of the female staff namely W/Ct. Pooja, swiftly apprehended her. She was later identified as 'M'.

On search of the white polythene bag, 200 grams of Ganja 'Marijuana' were recovered from it.

Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 288/2025 under section 20(B)(ii)(A) of the NDPS Act was registered at PS Nangloi.

The female accused was arrested in the case and the recovered contraband was seized.

Further investigation is underway to identify and apprehend other associates involved in the illegal drug trade.
