ONLINE FRAUD JOB RACKET BUSTED BY TEAM OF CYBER POLICE STATION, CENTRAL DISTRICT: TWO CHEATS ARRESTED FOR CHEATING YOUTH THROUGH FAKE GIGOLO JOB OFFERS.

•    ONLINE JOB SCAM OFFERING FAKE GIGOLO/PLAYBOY EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES EXPOSED BY TEAM OF PS CYBER POLICE STATION, CENTRAL DISTRICT.
•    COMPLAINANT WAS DUPED OF ₹27,135 UNDER THE PRETEXT OF VARIOUS FAKE CHARGES
•    TWO ACCUSED ARRESTED; ONE INFORMED THAT HE WAS A PREVIOUS VICTIM OF THE SAME SCAM
•    04 MOBILE PHONES AND 02 SIM CARDS (OBTAINED USING FAKE IDENTITIES) RECOVERED

BRIEF DETAILS OF THE INCIDENT: -
A complaint was received on the National Cyber Crime Portal (NCRP) by the complainant, who works as a salesman in a shoe shop at Inderlok, Delhi. While searching online for part-time jobs, he explored Gigolo/Playboy job options and found a contact number promising a lucrative package per service visit.
The so-called employer lured him into paying various charges under different pretexts such as Registration Fee, Hotel Charges, Massage Kit Fee, Cab Charges, GST, etc. In total, the victim was duped of ₹27,135 through multiple transactions. Realizing he was being defrauded, he reported the matter following which a case FIR No. 52/25 dated 11.06.25 u/s 318(4) BNS was registered, and investigation was taken up.

TEAM & OPERATION: -    
    To work out the case and nab the accused persons, a dedicated team comprising SI Gaurav Singh, HC Bharat Singh, HC Hira Lal, W/HC Minakshi, Ct. Dharmender was constituted under leadership of Inspector Sandeep Panwar, SHO/Cyber Police Station and overall supervision of Sh. Suresh Khunga, ACP/Operations, Central District.
Initially, the mobile numbers used by the fraudsters were found switched off. However, after a detailed technical analysis & surveillance, the team successfully identified and arrested two accused persons namely, Himanshu Jhangra (Age 25) and Vishal (Age 19). Both are residents of Nangloi, Delhi. They were thoroughly interrogated, and their mobile phones used in executing the crime were recovered and seized for forensic analysis. 
The accused procured mobile SIM cards on fake identities and posted false listings for Gigolo/Playboy jobs on free classified websites. Their intent from the beginning was to cheat. They believed the victims would not approach police due to social embarrassment. One of the accused Himanshu admitted that he himself fell victim to a similar scam two years ago, which led him to adopt the same criminal method.

ACCUSED ARRESTED: -
1.    Himanshu Kumar Sharma @ Himanshu Jhangra R/o Amanpuri, Nangloi, Delhi – 110041 Age: 25 years
2.    Vishal R/o Adhyapak Nagar, Nangloi, Delhi – 110041 Age: 19 years

RECOVERY:
04 Mobile phones and 02 SIM cards on fake identities
Further investigation is in progress.
