✳️ *MULTIPLE GOLD & SILVER ORNAMENTS RECOVERED ON SPOT AND ADDITIONAL RECOVERY MADE DURING POLICE CUSTODY REMAND*

✳️ *ACCUSED CONFESSED & IDENTIFIED LOCATION OF HIDDEN STOLEN ARTICLES*

    The staff of PS Palam Village, South West District has arrested one notorious criminal/burglar namely *Sonu R/o Goyala Dairy, Delhi, Age 19 years.* With his arrest, stolen Gold & Silver ornaments recovered.

*INCIDENT, TEAM & OPERATION:*
    On 20.05.2025, an e-FIR No. 80048788/25, u/s 305/317(2) BNS was registered at PS Palam Village, wherein the complainant reported theft of Gold and Silver ornaments from his house. Accordingly, investigation was taken up.

    To solve the case, a dedicated team under the leadership of Insp. Sudhir Gulia, SHO/PS Palam Village comprising of IO/HC Rakesh, HC Dinesh Kumar, HC Ramdas & Ct. Suresh was constituted under the close supervision of Sh. Anil Sharma, ACP/Sub-division Delhi Cantt to nab the burglars. The team started working on CCTV footages near place of incident & also roped in secret informers. On 01.07.2025, on the basis of secret information, the team apprehended one accused namely Sonu R/o Goyala Dairy, Delhi, Age 19 years near Railway Line, F-Block, Raj Nagar, while he was attempting to sell stolen jewellery. Initial recovery of stolen items including 3 Gold Kangans, 1 Gold Mangalsutra, 5 Pairs of Silver Payals, 1 Silver Glass, 1 Silver Bowl, 1 Timex Men’s Watch, 1 Timex Women’s Watch, 2 Gold Kade (Bracelets) were recovered at the spot.

   The accused was arrested and two days PC Remand was obtained for further recovery and interrogation. During PC remand, at his instance, further recovery was affected from a vacant plot near urban Expressway, Defence colony, where he had hidden remaining stolen articles in bushes. Stolen items including 1 Silver Neck Haar Set, 1 Gold Mangalsutra, 1 Silver Moti Chain, 1 Artificial Yellow Chain, 4 Pairs of Multi-Colour Earrings, 2 Silver Rings, 1 Silver Chand and 6 Silver Coins were also recovered. The accused confessed to the house theft committed on 20.05.2025. He admitted to spending the stolen cash on drug addiction. He also disclosed that this was his first theft and he acted alone. All recovered stolen Gold/Silver ornaments were seized as case property.

    Accused Sonu R/o Goyala Dairy, Delhi, Age 19 years is addicted to drugs.

*RECOVERY:*
       Stolen items including 3 Gold Kangans, 1 Gold Mangalsutra, 5 Pairs of Silver Payals, 1 Silver Glass, 1 Silver Bowl, 1 Timex Men’s Watch, 1 Timex Women’s Watch, 2 Gold Kade (Bracelets), 1 Silver Neck Haar Set, 1 Gold Mangalsutra, 1 Silver Moti Chain, 1 Artificial Yellow Chain, 4 Pairs of Multi-Colour Earrings, 2 Silver Rings, 1 Silver Chand and 6 Silver Coins.
