✳️ *ONE MISSING MINOR GIRL AGED 13 YEARS TRACED BY THE TEAM OF AHTU/SOUTH WEST DISTRICT*

✳️ *MISSING MINOR GIRL WAS REUNITED SAFELY WITH HER FAMILY UNDER “OPERATION MILAP”*

    A team of AHTU, South West District had done a commendable and humanitarian work by tracing & reuniting one missing minor girl namely “M” age 13 years with her family safely under “Operation Milap”.

*INCIDENT, TEAM AND OPERATION:*
    On 13.05.2025, a complaint was received at PS Uttam Nagar, New Delhi regarding missing/kidnapping of one minor girl namely “M” age 13 years. Immediately, a case u/s 137(2) BNS was registered at PS Uttam Nagar, New Delhi and search of the missing child was made by PS staff but no clue was found.

    To trace the missing girl, a dedicated team under the leadership of Insp. Balbir Singh, I/C AHTU/SWD comprising W/HC Sharmila and W/Ct Seema was constituted who took keen interest to trace her. The team met the family and friends of missing girl and also engaged secret sources in the case. The AHTU team shared her information and photographs with many institutions, police officers and known persons who had helped the team in the past. During the course of action, the team put several suspected numbers on surveillance and CCTV footage was checked. During strenuous exercise, staff showed her photographs to the public and tried to search her physically. Sincere efforts bore fruit and finally the missing minor girl was traced from Uttam Nagar Terminal, Delhi. During enquiry, the girl disclosed that there were so many restrictions in her home so she decided to run away. The missing girl was safely handed over to her family after completing all the legal formalities.
