✳️ *ONE EXTERNEE ARRESTED BY THE STAFF OF PS VASANT KUNJ SOUTH/SWD*

✳️ *THE ACCUSED WAS EXTERNED BY ADDL. DCP/SWD VIDE ORDER DATED 03.05.2024 FOR THE PERIOD OF 24 MONTHS.*

✳️ *THE ACCUSED IS PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN 10 CRIMINAL CASES REGISTERED AT PS VASANT KUNJ SOUTH & PS KAPASHERA, DELHI.*

    The staff of PS Vasant Kunj South, South West District had arrested one externee namely *Manish @ Thekedar R/o Rangpuri, Delhi, age 33 years.*

*INFORMATION, TEAM & ARREST:* 
       To control crime & to ensure safe and secure environment for the citizens residing in the area of South West district, beat staff of PS Vasant Kunj South was briefed regularly to keep close watch on active criminals/BCs as well as externees. Accordingly, a dedicated team comprising HC Anoop and HC Pawan was constituted under the supervision of SHO/Vasant Kunj South to identify and apprehend wanted criminals/BC as well as Externees, etc.

        On 07.07.25, at about 8:30 PM, during Beat patrolling duty, HC Anoop and HC Pawan noticed that Manish @ Thekedar was roaming near Ambedkar Chaupal, Rangpuri. The above Beat Staff were aware of the fact that Externment orders for 24 months, had been issued against Manish @ Thekedar by Addl. DCP-I(E)South West, dated 03.05.2024. When asked by the beat staff, accused Manish @ Thekedar failed to produce any stay order, relief order or any Summons/warrant of the court to justify his presence in the area. Thus, a legal action under the provision of u/s 53/116 DP Act was taken against him in violation of the externment orders.  

*PROFILE OF ACCUSED ARRESTED:*
      Accused Manish @ Thekedar R/o Rangpuri, Delhi, age 33 years is previously involved in 10 criminal cases registered at PS Vasant Kunj South & PS Kapashera, Delhi.

    The externee Manish @ Thekedar was produced before the concerned court and externment cell was also informed accordingly.
