✳️ *THE ACCUSED WAS EXTERNED FOR A PERIOD OF 02 YEARS BY ADDL. DCP/SWD VIDE ORDER DATED 22.03.2024.*

✳️ *THE ACCUSED IS PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN 05 CASES OF EXCISE ACT & GAMBLING ACT*

    The staff of PS Sagarpur, South West District has arrested one externee namely *Ravi Kumar R/o Kailashpuri Extendion, Indra Park, Sagarpur, Delhi, Age 43 years.*

*INFORMATION, TEAM & ARREST:*
    To curb crime and ensure a safe environment for the citizens of the South West District, the staff of PS Sagarpur was being regularly briefed to keep a close watch on active criminals/BCs and externees. Accordingly, a dedicated team comprising HC Ramnarayan, HC Rajkumar, HC Sachin and Ct. Arvind was constituted under the leadership of Insp. Narender Singh, ATO/Sagarpur, and under the close supervision of Sh. Anil Sharma, ACP/Sub-Division Delhi Cantt to identify and apprehend the externees by conducting thorough checks in the areas. Vigil patrolling in the area was conducted.

     On 13.07.2025, during patrolling duty, the team received specific input regarding one externee, Ravi Kumar, who had been externed for 2 years by Addl. DCP/SW vide order dated 22.03.2024. Acting upon the input, a trap was laid and the said person was apprehended. On questioning, the accused failed to produce any court relief/stay/warrant or legal justification for his presence in the area, thereby violating the externment order. Thus, a legal action under the provision of u/s 53/116 DP Act was taken against him.

*PROFILE OF ACCUSED ARRESTED:*
    Accused Ravi Kumar R/o Kailashpuri Extendion, Indra Park, Sagarpur, Delhi, Age 43 years, is previously involved in 05 cases of Delhi Excise Act & Gambling Act registered at various Police Stations in Delhi.

    The accused Ravi Kumar was produced before the concerned court and externment cell was also informed accordingly.
