✳️ *ONE DESPERATE FEMALE PICK-POCKETER ARRESTED BY THE TEAM OF OPERATIONS CELL, SOUTH WEST DISTRICT*

✳️ *TWO STOLEN MOBILE PHONES RECOVERED FROM HER POSSESSION.*

✳️ *TWO CASES OF MOBILE THEFT SOLVED*

✳️ *ACCUSED IS PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN 05 CASES OF PICK POCKETING.*

✳️ *ACCUSED STEALS THE VALUABLE ARTICLES/ELECTRONIC GADGETS FROM CROWDED PLACES LIKE RALLY/MARKETS/MALLS ETC.*  

     A team of Operations Cell, South West District has arrested one desperate female pick pocketer namely *Roshani @ Radha R/o Surya Vihar, Faridabad, Haryana, Age 29 years.* With her arrest, two stolen mobile phones were recovered.

*INCIDENT, TEAM AND OPERATION:*
     To curb the incidents of pick pocketing/mobile theft in the area of South West District especially in crowded places rally/markets/malls etc, the team of Operations Cell/South West District was directed to identify the areas in the district where the pick pocketing/mobile theft incidents were reported. The team analyzed the crime pattern and started collecting local intelligence and also patrolling specifically in the affected areas. A dedicated team comprising ASI Vinod Kumar, ASI Praveen, ASI Jaipal, W/ASI Sandhya, HC Narender, HC Mohit, HC Ravinder, HC Prashant and HC Hariom was constituted under the leadership of Insp. Ram Kumar I/C AATS/SWD and under the close supervision of Sh. Vijay Kumar, ACP/Operations/South West to nab the pick pockets active in the area of South West District.

       On 28.06.2025, there was huge gathering in Jagannath Yatra. The team was deputed in the Jagannath Yatra in civil clothes to nab the active pick pocketers. The team successfully nabbed one suspect female pick pocket and two stolen mobile phones were recovered from her possession. On enquiry, she was identified as Roshani @ Radha R/o Surya Vihar, Faridabad, Haryana, & Molarband, Badarpur Delhi, Age 29 years. One stolen mobile phone was found stolen in case E-FIR No. 80092709/24 u/s 303(2) BNS, PS R.K. Puram and one another stolen mobile phone Realme, was found stolen in case E-FIR No. 80061497/25 u/s 303(2) BNS, PS Safdarjung Enclave, Delhi.

         On sustained interrogation, accused Roshani @ Radha disclosed that she is habitual of doing pick pocketing in the crowded area of Delhi NCR. Her whole family is involved in doing the same crime. She belongs to Bawaria group. She and her family are not doing anything for their basic needs. Since last 8-10 years, she is doing pick pocketing in crowded places. She was arrested earlier a number of times. But after releasing from the jail, she again started to do the same type of crime.

*PROFILE OF ACCUSED ARRESTED:*
       Accused female Roshani @ Radha was born and brought up in Mans Mandi Bhatinda, Punjab. She has studied upto 4th class. Due to poor condition of family, she left the school. In 2012, she came to Delhi along with her family and started residing in Molarband, Badarpur area. She is found previously involved in total 05 cases of pick pocketing. She used to sell the stolen mobile phones to the labour class peoples in the rural area of Faridabad, Haryana.

1. Two stolen mobile phones.

1. E-FIR No. 80092709/24 u/s 303(2) BNS, PS R.K. Puram, Delhi. 
2. E-FIR No. 80061497/25 u/s 303(2) BNS, PS Safdarjung Enclave, Delhi.

  Further efforts are going on to nab his associates and to affect more recoveries.
