✳️ *ONE DESPERATE BURGLAR AND ONE RECEIVER (SCRAP DEALER) OF STOLEN PROPERTY ARRESTED BY THE TEAM OF OPERATIONS CELL, SOUTH-WEST DISTRICT.*

✳️ *ACCUSED PERSONS WERE ARRESTED AFTER ANALYSING MORE THAN 50 CCTV CAMERAS AND DEVELOPING TECHNICAL INPUTS.*

✳️ *FIVE STOLEN WATER MOTORS AND ONE SCOOTY USED IN THE COMMISSION OF CRIME RECOVERED*

      A dedicated team of Operations Cell, South-West District has arrested one desperate burglar and one receiver (scrap dealer) namely *Rohit* R/o Old Som Bazar Road, Mahavir Enclave-I, Palam Colony, Delhi and *Veeru Mathur* R/o Jhuggi Shyam Nagar, Subhash Nagar, Delhi. With their arrest, five stolen water motors and one scooty used in the commission of crime were recovered.

*INCIDENT, TEAM & ARREST:*
      On 10.07.2025, burglary case vide E-FIR No. 80064787/2025 u/s 305/3(5) BNS was registered at PS Palam Village by the complainant regarding theft of one water motor from his house. A dedicated team under the leadership of Insp. Ram Kumar, I/C Anti Burglary Cell, comprising SI Bachchu Singh, HC Sunil Kumar, HC Kanti Lal, HC Ajay, HC Vinod, Ct. Mahesh and Ct. Sanwariya was constituted under the close supervision of Sh. Vijay Kumar, ACP/Operations to nab the burglars. The team started analyzing CCTV cameras. Local intelligence and technical inputs were also developed about the burglary incident reported.

      On 17.07.2025, one notorious burglar namely Rohit R/o Old Som Bazar Road, Mahavir Enclave-I, Palam Colony, Delhi was apprehended from Mahavir Enclave area and one Ntorq Scooty which was used by the accused persons during the commission of crime, was recovered on his instance. Further, on the instance of accused Rohit, receiver (scrap dealer) namely Veeru Mathur R/o Jhuggi Shyam Nagar, Subhash Nagar, Delhi was also arrested from his Scrap shop and total 05 stolen water motors were recovered from the scrap shop.

*PROFILE OF ACCUSED ARRESTED:*
1. Accused Rohit R/o Old Som Bazar Road, Mahavir Enclave-I, Palam Colony, Delhi was born and brought up in Mahavir Enclave, Delhi. He was dropped from school due to his drug addiction. He came in contact of bad elements of area. He was not earning sufficient money to need his basic needs. He has started stealing the small things from streets in the area.
2. Accused Veeru Mathur R/o Jhuggi Shyam Nagar, Subhash Nagar, Delhi was born and brought up in Delhi. He is illiterate. After he got married, he started playing gambling. He has previous involvement of gambling cases. He was previously involved in a dacoity case. After releasing from Jail in Dacoity case, he has started doing scrap dealer work. He used to buy the stolen water motors and other stolen things and used to dismantle the stolen articles. He has earned the money by doing this work to meet his family basic needs.

*RECOVERY:*
1. Five stolen water motors.
2. One scooty used during commission of crime.
