ONE CRIMINAL IN POSSESSION OF BUTTON ACTUATED KNIFE ARRESTED BY THE TEAM OF PS DBG ROAD, CENTRAL DISTRICT.

•    ONE CRIMINAL ARRESTED WITH A BUTTON ACTUATED KNIFE BY THE TEAM OF PS DBG ROAD.
•    ACCUSED IS AN ACTIVE HISTORY SHEETER OF PS NABI KARIM.
•    VIGILANT PATROLLING AND WATCH OVER THE AREA LEADS TO THE ARREST OF THE CRIMINAL.

Team & Operation: -
The staff of PS DBG Road has been continuously briefed to maintain vigilant patrolling and curb criminal activities. Acting on these instructions, teams were deployed in night patrolling in the area and a dedicated patrolling team comprising Ct. Saurabh and Ct. Anoop was under patrolling in their area. On the intervening night of 20/21.06.2025, the team spotted a suspicious person near the vacant land behind Liberty Cinema, Dev Nagar, Karol Bagh, Delhi. Upon noticing the police presence, the individual attempted to flee the spot.

The alert team acted swiftly and managed to apprehend him. During questioning, he failed to provide a valid reason for being present at the location. Upon further interrogation, he revealed his identity as Vijay @ Vicky @ Mota, resident of Amarpuri, Nabi Karim, Delhi.

On conducting a cursory search, one button-actuated knife was recovered from his possession. Subsequently, a case vide FIR No. 282/2025 dated 21.06.2025 u/s 25 Arms Act was registered at PS DBG Road, and the accused was arrested. On checking record, he has been found as an active BC of PS Nabi Karim.

Accused Arrested: -
1.    Vijay @ Vicky @ Mota R/o Amarpuri, Nabi Karim, Delhi Age: 45 Years

The accused is a known history-sheeter of PS Nabi Karim and has been previously involved in multiple criminal cases.

Recovery: -
1.    One button actuated knife.

Further investigation is underway.

ACCUSED FLEEING & EVADING THE PROCEEDINGS OF NI ACT AGAINST HIM; TURNED PROCLAIMED OFFENDER, AGAIN BROUGHT IN CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM BY THE TEAM OF PS KAROL BAGH, CENTRAL DISTRICT.

•    ONE PROCLAIMED OFFENDER ARRESTED BY THE TEAM OF PS KAROL BAGH, CENTRAL DISTRICT.
•    ACCUSED PERSON WAS ARRESTED ON THE BASIS OF LOCAL INFORMATION & MANUAL SURVEILLANCE.

A special drive against proclaimed offenders is being continuously carried out in the Central District. A dedicated teams of police officials were constituted which arrested a Proclaimed offenders namely Sumit Kumar.

Team & Operation: -     
    A dedicated team from PS Karol Bagh comprising ASI Manoj Kumar Panwar and HC Rajbeer was constituted. This team worked under the leadership of Insp Saket Kumar, SHO/Karol Bagh and overall supervision Sh. Ashish Kumar, ACP/Karol Bagh, and successfully arrested the proclaimed offender, Sumit Kumar.

The teams continued to work on technical and manual information to trace the proclaimed offenders: Sumit Kumar. The team visited the residence of the accused person, but he was not available. The team maintained close monitoring through technical surveillance, and information was also gathered from secret informers.
On June 22, 2025, information was received that the accused person, Sumit Kumar, was present at his residence. The team from PS Karol Bagh, immediately reached the spot, and on the informer's instance, accused Sumit Kumar R/O Bapa Nagar, Karol Bagh, Delhi, was apprehended from his residence.
Upon checking the records, it was found that accused Sumit Kumar, was declared a proclaimed offender in Ct case No. 12354/2019, U/S 138 ACT, P.S Karol Bagh by the Hon'ble court of M.s. Neha Goel LD. J.M.F.C- (NI Act-02) Central/THC/Delhi. Accordingly, the accused person was arrested vide D.D. No. 32A, dated 22/06/2025, U/S 35.1(D) B.N.S.S., PS Karol bagh, Delhi.

Accused Arrested: -
1.    Sumit Kumar R/o Bapa Nagar, Karol Bagh, Delhi. Age-36 years
