🚨 *POLICE STATION: SULTAN PURI* 🚨

▶️ *BRIEF FACTS OF THE CASE:*

On 30.06.2025, a complaint was received at PS Sultanpuri, wherein the complainant alleged that while he was travelling with his brother, he stopped his car near the bus terminal, Sultanpuri. As he was sitting inside the car, an unknown boy approached and snatched his gold chain and ran away.

Based on the complainant’s statement, a case was registered vide FIR No. 449/25 under Sections 304(2)/317(2) of the BNS at PS Sultanpuri.

⏩️ *TEAM CONSTITUTION*

A dedicated team comprising HC Pardeep, HC Sombir, HC Sukhender, and Ct. Nittu led by Insp. Ravinder Malik, SHO/Sultan Puri under the close supervision of Sh. Rajbeer Malik, ACP/ Sultan Puri was constituted.

⏭️ *OPERATION AND INTERROGATION:*

During the course of the investigation, the team analyzed multiple CCTV footages from the vicinity of the incident. Simultaneously, the network of secret informers was activated to gather actionable intelligence.

Subsequently, the team received information regarding the presence of the accused in DSIDC Park. Acting on this input, a raid was conducted at the specified location, where a person matching the given description was spotted and apprehended. He was identified as Harsh @ Ashu.

During interrogation, the accused confessed to his involvement in the crime. Upon his cursory search, the snatched gold chain was recovered. Further investigation revealed that the accused, Harsh @ Ashu, has a criminal history and was previously involved in seven other cases.

Accordingly, he was arrested in connection with the case and the recovered gold chain was duly seized.
