➢ ONE ATM CHEAT ARRESTED BY PS AMAN VIHAR FOR DUPING PEOPLE IN DELHI
➢ 79 ATM CARDS OF DIFFERENT BANKS RECOVERED

BRIEF

​​The staff of PS Aman Vihar has done a commendable job by arresting one ATM cheat namely Arman Khan r/o Sultanpuri, Delhi, aged 27 years for duping people in case FIR No. 394/25 u/s 318(4)/303(2) BNS, PS Aman Vihar. 79 ATM cards of different banks were recovered from his possession.
 

INCIDENT AND ARREST

​​On 16.06.2025, a case vide FIR No. 394/25 u/s 318(4)/303(2) BNS was registered at PS Aman Vihar wherein the complainant alleged that one unknown person cloned/replaced his ATM card on the pretext of rendering assistance in withdrawing money from the ATM. He later on fraudulently withdrew money from his account. In order to nab the offender, a team comprising SIs Parvinder, Sunny Khatri & Naveen, HCs Sandeep, Pradeep & Narender and Ct Anil led by Inspr. Ravinder Joshi, SHO/Aman Vihar, under the supervision of Sh. Ajay Vedwal, ACP/Aman Vihar was constituted and an investigation was taken up. During the course of the investigation, the dedicated team roped in local informers and also analyzed the CCTV footages in the vicinity. On the basis of inputs and technical surveillance, the police team zeroed in one suspect. On 16.06.2025, the team got a secret information about the suspect and apprehended him from his hideout, who was later on identified as Arman Khan r/o Sultanpuri, Delhi, aged 27 years. On sustained questioning, he disclosed his involvement in the case. He further disclosed that he used to target ATM booths having lesser footfall on the pretext of helping them in withdrawing cash from ATMs. During help, he copied or swapped their ATM cards. The alleged person Arman Khan r/o Sultanpuri, Delhi, aged 27 years was arrested in the case. 79 ATM cards were recovered from his possession. Further investigation is in progress.

(i) Arman Khan is a resident of Sultanpuri Delhi and 27 years old. He has been previously involved in 04 criminal cases of Theft and Robbery.
