    ONE ABSCONDING CRIMINAL WANTED IN A SENSATIONAL CASE OF ROBBERY OF RS. 10 LAKHS OF PS SOUTH ROHINI, ARRESTED BY WR-II CRIME BRANCH.
INTRODUCTION
The team of WR-II/Crime Branch has arrested one absconding criminal who was wanted in a robbery case of PS South Rohini, Delhi from D-Mall, Sector-3, Rohini, Delhi. The Criminal has been identified as Rahul S/o Lt Ramesh R/o Present Address:- Village Rithala, Delhi and Permanent Address Village Kesarpur, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, Age 26 years. Accused Rahul was wanted in robbery of Rs 10 lakh from the area of South Rohini and in this regard case FIR No. 301/25 dated 21.05.2025 u/s 307/3(5)/61 BNS was found registered at PS South Rohini, Delhi.

BRIEF FACTS OF INCIDENT:- 
The robbery occurred on May 21, 2025, when Kuldeep Kumar, an employee at a CA firm, was returning to the office after collecting Rs 10 lakh in cash from a trading company in Avantika Market. As he reached Maharaja Agrasen Marg near Sector 3, two men on a motorcycle intercepted him, snatched his bag containing the money and fled. During the investigation, the police scanned CCTV footage along the route taken by the victim. The footage revealed that, apart from the two assailants on the primary bike, a second motorcycle carrying three more suspects was tailing the complainant, the officer added. The motorcycle used in the robbery was found registered to a resident of Rithala village. The two primary assailants were identified as Jatin Tiwari and Rahul from Rithala. Rahul was driving the bike and Jatin snatched the bag. Local Police have arrested six men identified as Jatin Tiwari alias Langda (22), Yogender Singh alias Raja (21), Arslan Pathan (19), Prince alias Lallu (18), Kapil Patel (25) and Piyush Singh Adhikari (22). Accused Rahul was evading arrest since commission of the crime. The accused Rahul had used his M/Cycle in commission of the crime and he has been identified on the basis of CCTV Footage and manual information. He also disclosed that the tip-off about the cash was provided by accused Yogender, a former employee of the same CA firm, who had knowledge of the firm’s financial movements
INFORMATION, TEAM  & OPERATION
On 20/06/2025, a secret information was received to SI Ravinder and Ct Manoj that one fugitive criminal namely Rahul, who is wanted in a robbery of Rs 10 lakh from the area of South Rohini. 
A team comprising of SI Anuj Chhikara, SI Ravinder, HC Ravinder Singh and Ct Manoj under the close supervision of Insp Gautam Malik and over all guidance of Sh. Rajpal Dabas, ACP/WR-II was constituted by Sh. Harsh Indora, DCP/Crime-III to nab the criminal. Team members HC Ravinder and SI Anuj Chhikara mounted technical surveillance and zeroed the location of the accused. Accordingly, on 20.06.25, a trap was laid by the team near D-Mall, Sector-3, Rohini, Delhi and accused was apprehended. The Accused person sensed the presence of the police team and ran toward D Mall and tried to escape, however, he was chased by Ct Manoj and finally nabbed by Ct Manoj and overpowered with the help of raiding team.

INTERROGATION AND PROFILE OF ACCUSED:- 
        The accused Rahul Dan Singh was born at his native village in Bareli, UP in the year 1999. He has studied upto 5th Class at his Village. His father expired and he moved to Delhi with his Uncles. He started working with his uncles who are fruit sellers in Rohini. During this period, he came in contact with his co-accused. He was not confessing his crime but when he was sternly interrogated and further when he was confronted with CCTV footage of the incident after which he confessed his involvement in the present case and disclosed that he alongwith his associate namely Prince @ Lalu, Asllan Pathan, Yogender @ Raja and Jatin Tiwari @ Langda, Kapil Patel and Piyush Singh Adhikari were involved in the robbery of Rs.10 lakh from the complainant Kuldeep and he had used his bike during the robbery. He was driving the bike when his associate Jatin Tiwari @ Langa robbed bag from the complainant. After robbing the bag, while fleeing, their bike fell on the road. They ran on foot in order to escape. Jatin Tiwari @ Langda handed over the bag to Prince @ Lalu who was on the second bike with two other associates. After which accused Rahul ran away and kept changing his location to evade his arrest.
