ONE ABSCONDING CRIMINAL WANTED IN A SENSATIONAL CASE OF ARMED DACOITY WITH MURDER OF PS BEGUMPUR, ARRESTED BY WR-II CRIME BRANCH.
    ACCUSED IS A MEMBER OF NOTORIOUS VICKY TAKKER @ DAWOOD GANG. 
INTRODUCTION:
The team of WR-II/Crime Branch has arrested one absconding criminal who was wanted in a murder and armed dacoity case of PS Begum Pur, Delhi. The Criminal has been identified as Karan @ Kallu S/o Vinod R/o Present Address Pattu Ka makan, Gumbad wali gali, Ghati Road, Anand Parvat, Delhi and permanent address Infront of Khan Dairy, Gali No. 18, Rajiv Nagar Extn., Begum Pur, Delhi, Age-28 years. The accused was declared proclaimed Offender in Case FIR No. 406/2019 Dated 10.12.2019 u/s 394/397/302/34 IPC PS Begumpur, Delhi by the Hon'ble Court of Sh. Vikram ASJ-02, Spl. Judge (NDPS), North West, Rohini Courts, New Delhi vide order dated 28.02.2025. 
The accused was arrested soon after registration of the case by Special Staff, Outer North. Later, in 2024, he was granted interim bail for 10 days by the Court. 
After coming out on bail, he jumped bail and absconded. Subsequently, he was declared PO by the court. He was changing his location frequently to evade arrest. Information was received that he would come to Shastri Park Metro Station, Delhi to meet someone. He was apprehended near Hanuman Mandir, Shastri Park Metro Station, Delhi.  
BRIEF FACTS OF INCIDENT:
The complainant reported that he lives with the family of his brother. On 09.12.19 at 10 PM, when he was sitting with his brother who has plaster on his right leg because he met with an accident 15 days ago, suddenly ¾ boys entered their house. 
These boys threatened the family members with dire consequences if they try to raise voice and they started asking for almirah keys. They robbed the cash from the house of complainant and decamped. One Naresh r/o Rajiv Nagar Extn. Begumpur was killed by stabbing during the robbery.
INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION:
On 25/06/2025, a secret information was received to SI Ravinder and Ct Manoj that one fugitive criminal namely Karan @ Kallu, who is wanted in a murder and armed dacoity case of PS Begumpur would come to Shastri Park Metro Station to meet someone.  
A team comprising of SI Anuj Chhikara, SI Ravinder, HC Parmod, HC Pawan, HC Ravinder Singh and Ct Manoj under the close supervision of Insp Pawan Singh and over all guidance of Sh. Rajpal Dabas, ACP/WR-II was constituted by DCP/Crime Branch, Sh. Harsh Indora, IPS to nab the criminal. Team members SI Anuj Chhikara and HC Ravinder mounted technical surveillance and zeroed the location of the accused. Accordingly, on 25.06.25, a trap was laid by the team near Shastri Park Metro Station and accused was apprehended.

1.    FIR No. 845/19 u/s 25 Arms Act PS Samai Pur Badli, Delhi 
INTERROGATION AND PROFILE OF ACCUSED:
        The accused Karan @ Kallu was born at Paschim Puri, Delhi in the year 1997. He has studied up to 7th Class at DCM School, Karol Bagh, Delhi. Later, he fell into bad company and become JCL. His father used to sell clothes in Local Market. They shifted to Begumpur, Delhi. He started working with his father in the trade of Battery Rickshaw. During this period, he came in contact with his Ajay @ Lallu (Member of Vicky Takker Gang). Gradually, he joined Vicky Takker Gang.  
On interrogation, it was revealed that Karan along with his associates and member of Vicky Takker Gang namely Sanjay, Sonu @ Gosai, Vijay Negi @ BC, Ishant, Saleem, Armaan, Inderjeet @ Babu was planning to commit robbery somewhere. On information, they entered the house of complainant and robbed cash and mobile phones. When the complainant tried to resist, he was stabbed to death by Karan and his associates. 
They were also carrying country made pistol. After committing robbery, they ran away on two motorcycles. They were total 8 accused in case. Four namely Sanjay, Karan, Vijay Negi & Ishant entered the house. Remaining accomplices kept waited outside. Among four who entered house actually Karan stabbed him & rest ransacked the house & committed dacoity.
