    NOTORIOUS & DESPERATE GANGSTER RAKESH @ PAMPU ARRESTED. ACCUSED IS ATTEMPTING TO REVIVE HIS GANG ACTIVITIES IN DELHI
    ONE SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH 4 LIVE CARTRIDGES RECOVERED.
     WANTED IN A SENSATIONAL MURDER CASE OF DEEPAK @ BHANJA AT VEER DHABA, MURTHAL, SONEPAT, HARYANA.
    CARRYING A REWARD OF 20K FROM COMMISSIONER OF POLICE, SONEPAT, HARYANA.

A team of Special Cell/ NR, led by Insp. Mandeep and Insp. Jaibir under the supervision of ACP Rahul Kumar Singh has arrested a notorious & desperate criminal Rakesh Kadian @ Pampu S/o Balraj Singh R/o VPO Siwah, Panipat, Haryana (age 39 years). One semi-automatic pistol with 4 live cartridges were recovered from his possession. He was wanted in a sensational murder case of one Deepak @ Bhanja at Veer Dhaba Murthal, Sonepat, Haryana and also carrying a reward of 20K declared by Sonepat police. Accused Rakesh @ Pampu has long history of crime and previously involved in several cases of attempt to Murder, Murder, Extortion and assaults etc. The accused attempted to establish his gang’s roots in Delhi in 2023, but was arrested by Special Cell, Delhi and his plan was foiled.

Development of Information:-
A reliable source informed that desperate gangster Rakesh @ Pampu who is wanted in sensational murder case of Deepak @ Bhanja at Veer Dhaba, Murthal, Sonepat, Haryana and also carrying a reward of 20k on his arrest by Sonepat police is frequently visiting Delhi and again planning to revive his gang in Delhi. To develop the information, manual and technical surveillances were mounted on the suspects affiliated with Rakesh @ Pampu gang.
Operation: 
    On 22/06/25, secret information was received that desperate gangster  Rakesh @ Pampu would be coming in the area of Rohini, Delhi with illegal weapons. Acting on the information, accused Rakesh @ Pampu was intercepted in a Brezza car and was overpowered. A sophisticated pistol along with 04 live cartridges were recovered from his possession and a case under relevant sections has been registered. 
    Recovery :-
1. One sophisticated pistol along with 04 live cartridges. 
2. One Maruti Brezza car

     Profile of Accused Rakesh @ Pampu: 
Accused Rakesh @ Pampu was born in his village in 1986. He competed his bachelor’s degree in Information Management from S.D college, Panipat.  In 2010, following the murder of his uncle by one Sharwan, a resident of his village, Rakesh stepped into the world of crime. He was an eyewitness to the incident. In revenge Rakesh @ Pampu along with his associates, attacked Sharwan and opened fire. However, Sharwan managed to survive the assault. 
In 2014, Rakesh’s @ Pampu brother-in-law, Vinod, was killed by Deepak alias Bhanja and his associates. Determined to avenge his brother-in-law’s murder, Rakesh set out to eliminate Deepak and his supporters. In this pursuit, he killed several individuals believed to be sympathizers of Deepak. In 2017, Rakesh alias Pampu was attacked at the Panipat court, where he sustained four bullet injuries  one each to the head, spine, and both arms  but he survived. He then attempted to re-establish his gang's presence in Delhi, however, his plans were foiled when he was arrested by the Delhi Police Special Cell in 2023. In 2024, he was released on parole, and in February 2025, he killed Deepak alias Bhanja at Veer Dhaba in Murthal, Sonepat, Haryana, avenging the murder of his brother-in-law. He has been absconding since then. 
    Previous involvements:-
Accused Rakesh Kadian @ Pampu was found previously involved in  more than 16 criminal cases. Some of the cases are as under:
