NOTORIOUS BANGLADESHI ROBBERS ARRESTED BY ISC

Key Points:
•    Absconding Bangladeshi national and member of a notorious gang, along with his associate, nabbed by ISC, Crime Branch.
•    Accused Mohd. Khalil @ Guddu was absconding in a dacoity case registered at PS Vivek Vihar, Delhi. A reward of ₹50,000 had been declared for his arrest by Delhi Police.
•    Four country-made pistols, fifteen live cartridges, one dagger, two iron rods, a plier, and other house-breaking equipment were recovered.
•    Accused Mohd. Khalil @ Guddu is also wanted in six burglary cases in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
Brief Summary:
With the arrest of notorious criminal Mohd. Khalil @ Guddu and his associate Khalid Sheikh, the ISC, Crime Branch has busted a gang involved in dacoity and burglary cases across multiple states.
Mohd. Khalil @ Guddu was absconding in FIR No. 355/2003, registered under Sections 395/397/412/216-A/120-B IPC, 14 Foreigners Act, and 25/27 Arms Act at PS Vivek Vihar, Delhi. A reward of ₹50,000 had been declared for his arrest. He is also wanted in six burglary cases in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
Following his arrest, FIR No. 112/2025, dated 08/05/2025, under Sections 25/27 Arms Act and 14 Foreigners Act, was registered at PS Crime Branch. A total of four country-made pistols, fifteen live cartridges, one dagger, two iron rods, a plier, and other house-breaking equipment were recovered from the accused persons.

INFORMATION, TEAM AND OPERATION:
On 07/05/2025, HC Sunil Kumar received secret information that a Bangladeshi national, Mohd. Khalil @ Guddu, wanted in a dacoity case from PS Vivek Vihar, was residing in Nasbandi Colony, Loni, Ghaziabad, UP, and would visit the Wazirabad area to meet his friends.
Accordingly, a dedicated team comprising SIs Naresh Kumar, Sunil Panwar, Jai Kumar, and HCs Amrish Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Harender Malik, and Bijendra Singh, led by Inspector Manmeet Malik and under the close supervision of Sh. Ramesh Chander Lamba, ACP/ISC, was formed.
The information was further developed, and a trap was laid in the Wazirabad area. Mohd. Khalil @ Guddu was apprehended after a brief chase. A loaded country-made pistol and two live cartridges were recovered from his possession. Accordingly, FIR No. 112/2025, dated 08/05/2025, under Sections 25/27 Arms Act, was registered at PS Crime Branch.
During police custody remand of Khalil @ Guddu, two more country-made pistols, ten live cartridges, one dagger, and other house-breaking tools were recovered from near the railway track opposite Gufa Wala Mandir, Preet Vihar, Delhi.
Further, one of his associates, Khalid Sheikh, was arrested, and one pistol along with two live cartridges was recovered from his house at his instance.
It was revealed that Khalil @ Guddu was attempting to reconstruct his gang and arrange weapons for future crimes. In recent days, he and his associates had conducted reconnaissance in the Preet Vihar / Anand Vihar area, near the railway track, to identify a suitable house for committing robbery or dacoity.
INTERROGATION AND MODUS OPERANDI:
During interrogation, accused Mohd. Khalil @ Guddu and Khalid Sheikh confessed that they had illegally entered India and settled in Delhi.
Mohd. Khalil @ Guddu is involved in more than 21 criminal cases, including dacoity across Delhi and other states. The accused and their gang used to break into houses late at night and rob the occupants at gunpoint.
About 15–20 days ago, he returned to Delhi after being released from Adilabad Jail, Andhra Pradesh. They were planning a major dacoity and intended to escape permanently to Bangladesh after committing the crime.
