⭕ *A NOTORIOUS AUTO-LIFTER ARRESTED, WITH RECOVERY OF 02 STOLEN MOTORCYCLES, BY THE TEAM OF ANTI-AUTO THEFT SQUAD, DWARKA DISTRICT.*

🔰 02 STOLEN MOTORCYCLES RECOVERED FROM HIS POSSESSION, STOLEN FROM PS NAJAFGARH & PAHARGANJ AREA.

🟡 *INTRODUCTION:-*

The *Anti Auto Theft Squad (AATS), Dwarka District,* has achieved remarkable success by arresting a notorious auto-lifter, *Harvinder Singh (22 years), S/o Deelip Kumar,* R/o Y Block, Mangolpuri, Delhi. On his instance, 02 stolen motorcycles were recovered, leading to the successful solution of 02 MVT cases.

🟡 *TASKING & BRIEFING:-*

Under the directions of DCP, Dwarka District - Sh. Ankit Singh IPS, AATS, Dwarka was tasked to intensify efforts against street crimes & MVT incidents.

The team systematically visited all recent crime spots and analyzed CCTV footages from both the locations and routes used by culprits.

Smart Monitoring Tool, CCTV footages were regularly reviewed to identify suspects.

Traps were laid at vulnerable points, staff were briefed on common modus operandi of auto-lifters, snatchers & robbers.

Local informers were sensitized and human intelligence was actively developed.

Vigil was maintained on recently released jail/parole criminals for possible involvement in fresh crimes.

🟡 *INFORMATION & ARREST:-*

On 19.06.2025, a team led by Inspr. Manish - I/C AATS, Dwarka under the supervision of Sh. Ramavtar - ACP/Ops. including SI Dhananjay, HC Somdev, HC Ghanshyam, HC Rakesh, HC Rajbir & HC Manoj Kumar was on patrol duty near Metro Line, Sector 16, Dwarka, Kakrola Village, a suspect riding a motorcycle without helmet was intercepted when he tried to flee on spotting the team.

The rider failed to produce valid documents or give any satisfactory reply regarding the motorcycle. On verification, the motorcycle was found stolen.

Further interrogation and analysis of CCTV footage led to the recovery of 01 more stolen motorcycle at his instance.

The accused was arrested and both stolen vehicles were seized.

🟡 *ACCUSED PROFILE:-*

- Harvinder Singh s/o Deelip Kumar, R/o Y-Block, Mangolpuri, Delhi, aged 22 years.

He worked as a salesman in a pots shop, Uttam Nagar. Recently he shifted to Delhi in search of employment. To meet his financial needs, he indulged in vehicle thefts.

1. e-FIR No. 010434/2025, dated 14.04.2025, U/s 379 IPC, PS Najafgarh.
2. e-FIR No. 016182/2025, dated 11.06.2025, U/s 379 IPC, PS Pahar Ganj.

🟡 *RECOVERY:-*

- 02 stolen motorcycles.
