🔰 01 ILLEGAL COUNTRY MADE PISTOL, 03 LIVE CARTRIDGES, 01 KNIFE & 01 STOLEN SCOOTY RECOVERED.

🔰 ACCUSED STOLE THE SCOOTY FROM PS PAHARGANJ AREA.

The staff of *PS Uttam Nagar, Delhi* have pulled off an exceptional job. *Social media was being used* to get fame & create terror in society.

🟡 *TEAM & OPERATION:-*

Pinning down criminals, averting untoward, incidents, allowing no illegal guns - with this mandate, *Sh. Ankit Singh, IPS - DCP Dwarka District* has flagged off the operation - *"No Guns, No Gangs".* PS Uttam Nagar police staff is realising the aim with utmost dedication.

In line, team comprising SI Jony Kumar No. D-5975, HC Jagbir Singh No. 1221/DW, HC Naveen No. 990/DW, HC Muniraj No. 550/DW & Ct. Namo Naryan No. 2061/DW under the supervision of SHO/Uttam Nagar and *the versatile - ACP Dabri Sh. Raj Kumar (Ex. SHO Uttam Nagar 2018 -2020)* , figured out one person on Instagram with a country made Pistol.

Local information was developed and on 08.07.25, team got secret information that the person is seen on social media, roaming near DDA Park 100 _foota_ road on a stolen Scooty and can be caught if a raid is conducted in time.

On this, the team immediately acted, a raiding party was prepared and a trap was laid near DDA Park, 100 _Foota_ road, Uttam Nagar, Delhi.

After some time, 02 suspicious persons were seen on a Scooty, coming from _Kali Basti_ towards Uttam Nagar Terminal. After seeing the police party, they tried to turn back & flee, but the vigilant staff caught the duo after a brief & an audacious chase.

During inquiry, their names were revealed as:-

1. *Preet Singh @ Gurmeet S/o Raja Singh,* aged 21 years.

2. One CCL, aged 16 ½ years.

01 _Desi_ Pistol along with 03 live cartridges were recovered from the possession of accused *Preet Singh @ Gurmeet* and one illegal Knife from the possession of CCL. Also one stolen Scooty No. DL-6S-AW-XXXX was recovered.

Accordingly, a case vide case *FIR No. 296/2025, Dt. 09.07.2025, u/s 25 Arms Act, PS Uttam Nagar, ND* was registered and accused Preet Singh has been arrested & CCL has also been apprehended in this case.

During investigation, the accused disclosed that they have stolen this scooty No. DL-6S-AW-XXXX from _Pahar Ganj_ area and on enquiry this scooty was found stolen in case *e-FIR No.12344/2025, Dt. 05.05.2025, u/s 305(B) BNS, PS Pahar Ganj.*

Further investigation is in progress.

1. *Preet Singh @ Gurmeet  s/o Raja Singh,* R/o I- Block, Bank Wali Gali, Murga Chowk, Ranhola,  aged 21 years.
- No previous involvement- Nil.

2. One CCL.

1. One country made Pistol with 03 Live Cartridges.
- (FIR No. 296/2025, Dt. 09.07.2025, u/s 25 Arms Act, PS Uttam Nagar).

2. One Illegal Knife.
- (FIR No. 296/2025, Dt. 09.07.2025, u/s 25 Arms Act, PS Uttam Nagar).

3. One Scooty No. DL-6S-AW-XXXX.
- (FIR No. 12344/2025, Dt. 05.05.2025, u/s 305(B) BNS, PS Pahar Ganj, Delhi).

4. One Car Battery.
- (e-FIR No. 80036473/2025, Dt. 11.04.2025, u/s 303(2) BNS, PS Uttam Nagar).

Apart from it, they also disclosed their involvement in some other cases regarding which further investigation is being conducted.
