A MAJOR CRACK DOWN ON A GANG OF INTERSTATE AUTOLIFTERS CUM BURGLARS; BY TEAM OF PS PRASAD NAGAR, CENTRAL DISTRICT; THREE AUTOLIFTERS/BURGLARS ARRESTED, 04 STOLEN M/CYCLES, GOLD & SILVER ORNAMENTS & TOOLS FOR USE IN THEFT RECOVERED

•    THREE AUTO-LIFTERS ARRESTED, BY THE TEAM OF PS PRASAD NAGAR, CENTRAL DISTRICT
•    TOTAL 04 STOLEN M/CYCLES RECOVERED, FROM THEIR POSSESSION.
•    GOLD & SILVER ORNAMENTS ALSO RECOVERED FORM THEIR POSSESSION.
•    TOOLS USED IN HOUSE BREAKING & AUTO-THEFT ALSO RECOVERED.
•    TECHNICAL AND MANUAL SURVEILLANCE HELPED IN SUCCESSFUL OPERATION AGAINST THE CRIMINALS.
•    ACCUSED PERSONS ARE HAILING FROM MADHYA PRADESH & MAHARASHTRA.
•    ACCUSED RAJVEER IS PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN 04 CRIMINAL CASES OF THEFT.
•    TOTAL 15 CASES OF THEFT/AUTOTHEFT GOT WORKED OUT WITH THEIR ARREST.

In a significant crackdown on organized vehicle theft and Burglary networks, the Prasad Nagar Police Station, Central District of Delhi Police has successfully dismantled an interstate auto-theft and burglary syndicates operating across Delhi. Acting on specific intelligence inputs, checking of various CCTVs across in Delhi, team from the Prasad Nagar Police Station, Central District arrested a total of 3 individuals, recovered 4 stolen vehicles, Gold and Silver Ornaments and seized a large cache of tools used in vehicle theft and Burglary.

TEAM & OPERATION:
Acting on an input regarding the gang of auto-lifter’s, team of Prasad Nagar initiated an investigation. Upon confirmation of the information, a dedicated team was constituted which was led by Insp Vikas Dabas, comprising SI Gaurav, HC Vishnu, HC Abhinav Kumar, HC Sunil Dhawan, HC Manoj, Ct. Manjeet, Ct. Udai Bhan under the supervision of Insp Subhash Chandra, SHO Prasad Nagar and overall guidance of Sh Ashish Kumar.

Acting upon the information, on 20.07.2025, the team laid a trap near the Chitra Gupt Road, Chuna Mandi, Paharganj, Delhi. With continuous tracking, and technical surveillance, the team successfully apprehended three suspected individuals who were identified as (i) Rajvir Singh R/o Aakash Nagar, Dwarika Puri, Sudama Nagar, Indore (Madhya Pradesh) (ii) Gurdeep Singh R/o Aakash Nagar, Dwarika Puri, Sudama Nagar, Indore (Madhya Pradesh) & (iii) Karan Singh R/o Ekta Nagar, Mhada Colony, Nalva Road, Nandurbar, Maharastra.

Upon search, from their possession, appx. 41 Gm. Gold/Gold Plated Metal, 19 Gm Silver/Silver Plated Metal, 4 Silver bracelet and large cache of tools used in vehicle theft and Burglary operations were recovered. The above said articels found stolen in FIR No. 80068022/25, u/s 305/331 BNS, PS Sarai Rohilla, North District. Upon interrogation, they confessed to involvement in multiple cases of thefts & auto thefts. According to the confession, the clothes and Shoes which were worn by alleged persons during the time of offence also recovered from their possession and matched with CCTV Footage.

One Honda Shine Bike also recovered from them, which was found to be stolen from the area of PS Shakarpur, East District, connected to FIR No. 019926/25, U/s 305(b) BNS, also recovered.

Upon sustained interrogation, they confessed to operating a gang involved in stealing the vehicles and Burglary, along with their associates. Another three Honda bikes were also recovered at the instance of accused persons. 

ACCUSED ARRESTED:
1.    Rajvir Singh R/o Aakash Nagar, Dwarika Puri, Sudama Nagar, Indore (Madhya Pradesh) Age: 24 yrs
He is the mastermind of the gang; he was a first arrested in 2020 in a case of theft of PS DBG Road & also involved in three criminal cases across Delhi. He is expert in house breaking & thefts of vehicles.
2.    Gurdeep Singh R/o Aakash Nagar, Dwarika Puri, Sudama Nagar, Indore (Madhya Pradesh) Age: 21 yrs
3.    Karan Singh R/o Ekta Nagar, Mhada Colony, Nalva Road, Nandurbar, Maharastra Age: 21 yrs.

RECOVERY:
1.    04 Honda Motor Cycle.
2.    Appx. 41 Gm. Gold/Gold Plated Metal.
3.    19 Gm Silver/Silver Plated Metal.
4.    4 Silver bracelet.
5.    Tools used in auto lifting and house breaking.
