✅One False Case Of Gold Robbery Cracked By The Team With The Arrest Of Complainant And His Three Associates

✅ Gold Articles (70 Gram) and 20 Gram Silver Articles, Bike Used In The Crime And Wearing Cloths Have Been Recovered.

INCIDENT:-

         In the intervening night of 26/27-06-25, a PCR call was received at PS Govindpuri, in which complainant Mantu Mandal alleged that in the intervening night of 25/26-06-25, two bikers reached at his house and introduced themselves as police officials. They took gold from his house and abducted him. After about one km distance from his home, they left him abandoned and flee away. As per statement of the complainant, a case under appropriate sections of law was registered and investigation taken up.

TEAM & INVESTIGATION:-

       In view of gravity of offence, a joint team headed by Inspr Kamlesh Kumar comprising SI Yogender, ASI Suresh, Ct Akshay of Anti Robbery Cell and Insp. Yogesh Kumar, ATO/Govindpuri, SI Daya Shankar, HC Naveen Kumar, Ct. Robin and CT. Deepak was constituted in the supervision of Inspr. Dharmveer Singh, SHO/Govindpuri and overall supervision of Sh. Rakesh Kumar Sharma, ACP/Kalkaji to solve the case. 
The team reached at the scene of incident and met complainant. CCTV footage of the scene of incident as well as the nearby places were analyzed. As per CCTV footage, two bikers reached at house of complainant. After six minutes, they left the house alongwith complainant and gold articles. Through CCTV footage and technical surveillance, both bikers namely Raj Kumar and Sarfaraj alongwith their associate namely Raju S/o Mohd Ahsan were nabbed by the team and they were interrogated at length.
Upon sustained interrogation, it was revealed that the complainant, a construction site contractor, had taken an almirah from its owner, Jitender, while working at a site in Lajpat Nagar about a month ago. On June 25, 2025, the complainant sold the almirah to a scrap dealer, who discovered gold articles inside the locker. The scrap dealer handed over the gold to Mantu Mandal, but also informed Jitender about it. A conspiracy was hatched between Mantu Mandal and his friend Raju to grab the gold. Raju arranged two bikers who reached Mantu's house, where he handed over the gold articles. A photo was taken by the bikers as evidence. Notably, the complainant did not make any call that night. At their instance, gold articles approximate (70 Gram) and 20 gram silver articles and Apache bike used in the incident have been recovered from their possession. 
     
FALSE ALLEGATIONS:-

      When the actual owner of the gold pressured Mantu to return it, he made a false PCR call against police officials and intentionally identified a police officer as one of the alleged bikers to mislead the investigation. 
LEGAL PROCEEDINGS:-
Based on the interrogation, legal proceedings are ongoing against the two bikers, as well as the complainant and Raju, who are accused of being conspirators. All the four accused have been arrested.

1. Raj Kumar S/o Surender r/o Meethapur Extn Badarpur Delhi age 39 years. His previous involvement is NIL.
2. ⁠Sarfaraz S/o Abdul Gaffar r/o Jaitpur Extn Delhi. Age 43 years. His previous involvement is NIL.
3. ⁠Raju @ Yusuf S/o Mohd Ahsan r/o Sec 48, Faridabad HR age 38 years. His previous involvement is NIL.
4. ⁠Mantu Mandal S/o Jhatal Mandal r/o Tuglakabad Delhi age 42 years. His previous involvement is NIL.

Recovery:- 
1. Gold Articles about 60 Gram. 
2. ⁠One Apache Bike used in the crime. 
3. ⁠Worn Clothes during crime. 
4. Almirah

Further interrogation/investigation is going on.
