⭕ *AATS, DWARKA DISTRICT TEAM CRACKS DOWN ON BOOTLEGGING — 02 INTERSTATE SUPPLIERS HELD WITH OVER 1800 QUARTERS OF ILLICIT LIQUOR IN BACK-TO-BACK OPERATIONS.*

🔰 TOTAL RECOVERY: 1834 QUARTERS (36 CARTONS) OF ILLICIT LIQUOR.

🔰 02 VEHICLES (SWIFT CAR & SCOOTY) USED IN SMUGGLING CONFISCATED.

🟡 *TASKING:-*

*DCP Dwarka District* got intensified action against organized crime, especially across border areas.

In compliance, *AATS Dwarka District* was tasked to develop intelligence, conduct surveillance and take swift legal action against those involved in illicit supply networks.

A team led by Insp. Manish Yadav under the supervision of Sh. Ram Avtar - ACP Ops. Dwarka was tasked to keep a tab on bootleging.

🟡 *OPERATION - 01*

🔰 SWIFT CAR BUSTED: 1440 QUARTERS RECOVERED, SUPPLIER HELD.

On the intervening night of 11.07.2025, *AATS/Dwarka District* received actionable input regarding illicit liquor movement in a Swift car. The vehicle was intercepted near Ganda Nala Road, Bahadurgarh–Najafgarh Road, Jharoda Kalan, where the driver attempted to flee but was swiftly apprehended.

🟡 *ACCUSED ARRESTED :-*

- *Raja Babu S/o Jhagaru,* R/o Village Godwah, PS Muftsil, Motihari, Bihar.
- Present Address – Mundka, Delhi, aged 22 yrs.

🟡 *RECOVERY:-*

- 28 cartons (1440 quarters) of illicit liquor.
- 01 Swift car used for transportation.

🟡 *TEAM INVOLVED:-*

- SI Jitender Singh, ASI Dinesh Kumar, HC Sandeep, HC Sonu, HC Manish & HC Manoj Kumar.

🟡 *CASE DETAILS:-*

- FIR No. 223/25, Dt. 11.07.2025, U/S 33/38/58(D) Excise Act, PS BHD Nagar.

During interrogation, Raja Babu disclosed that he procured liquor from Bahadurgarh, Haryana and delivered it in Delhi. He works as a driver and is uneducated.

🟡🟡 *OPERATION - 02*

🔰 *SCOOTY SEIZED WITH 394 QUARTERS, HABITUAL OFFENDER CAUGHT.*

On 10.07.2025, another AATS, Dwarka District team identified a suspicious scooty near Metro Line Yard, Kakrola Village, Sector 16A, Dwarka. The rider tried to speed off but was intercepted and found carrying illicit liquor.

🟡 *ACCUSED ARRESTED:-*

- *Rakesh S/o Prahlad,* R/o Brahmpuri Colony, Najafgarh Road, PS Ranhola, Delhi, aged 35 years.

🟡 *RECOVERY:-*

- 08 cartons (394 quarters) of illicit liquor.
- 01 Scooty used for smuggling

🟡 *TEAM INVOLVED:-*

- SI Dhananjay, ASI Vijay Singh, HC Rakesh Kumar, HC Sandeep and HC Manoj Kumar.

🟡 *CASE DETAILS:-*

- FIR No. 264/25, Dt. 10.07.2025, U/S 33/38/58(D) Excise Act, PS Dwarka North.

During interrogation, Rakesh admitted he regularly sourced liquor from Bahadurgarh and was earlier involved in 03 similar cases under Excise Act. Both accused have been arrested and recoveries seized.

Further investigation is underway.
