⭕ *, WITH 2000 QUARTERS OF ILLICIT LIQUOR, BEING FERRIED IN TATA INDIGO CAR, BY THE TEAM OF AATS, DWARKA DISTRICT.*

🔰 40 CARTOONS (2000 QUARTERS) HIGH QUALITY ILLICIT LIQUOR FOR SALE IN HARYANA RECOVERED WITH THE ARREST OF SUPPLIER NAMELY AMIT.

🔰 ACCUSED AMIT USED TO PROCURE ILLICIT LIQUOR FROM BAHADURGARH, HARYANA & SUPPLIED THE SAME AT VARIOUS PLACES IN DELHI.

🔰 ONE TATA INDIGO CAR USED FOR TRANSPORTATION OF ILLICIT LIQUOR ALSO CONFISCATED.

Team *AATS, Dwarka District* has done a commendable work by arresting one illicit liquor supplier - *Amit S/o Om Parkash,* R/o Sainik Enclave, Mohan Garden, Delhi, Aged 44 years with recovery of *40 cartoons (2000 QUARTERS) illicit liquor* for sale in Haryana and one car bearing No. DL-9CQ-XXXX used in transportation of illicit liquor.

🟡 *TASKING & TEAM:-*

As per directions of *DCP Dwarka District,* the staff of *AATS of Dwarka District* was tasked to curb organized crimes like gambling, supply/sale of liquor in the area of Dwarka district. The team was directed to develop key inputs regarding supply of illicit liquor in Dwarka district & nearby areas and to take action against the persons indulged in supply from interstate border area.

The dedicated team headed by Inspr. Kamlesh Kumar - I/C AATS Dwarka comprising SI Dinesh Kumar, HC Somdev, HC Inder, HC Rakesh, HC Rajbir, HC Hemchand and HC Manoj was constituted under the supervision of Sh. Ramavtar, ACP/Operations, Dwarka District to track and nab illicit liquor suppliers as well as local bootleggers active in the area of Dwarka District.

🟡 *INFORMATION & ARREST:-*

Dedicated efforts of the team bore results when in the intervening night of 08/09-05-25, on the basis of technical surveillance and human intelligence, one TATA indigo car was spotted by the *team of AATS* at Dichaon Road near Dichaun Kalan Village.  

It was signalled to stop but instead, driver of the car tried to accelerate lest to be intercepted by the dedicated team. Driver namely *Amit S/o Om Parkash,* Aged 44 years was apprehended with car.

As per information, car bearing No. DL-9CQ-XXXX was checked, which was found loaded with illicit liquor cartoons of high-quality liquor i.e. *(40 Cartoon i.e. 2000 Quarters).*

Recovered illicit liquor and car used in transportation have been seized. As per recovery, a case was registered at *PS BHD Nagar* and accused was arrested.

🟡 *ACCUSED ARRESTED:-*

- *Amit S/o Om Parkash,* R/o Sainik Enclave, Mohan Garden, Delhi, Age 44 years.

🟡 *INTERROGATION: -*

During interrogation, accused Amit disclosed that he completed his education up to 10th standard but discontinued further studies. In 2018-19, he was working as a taxi driver but due to lockdown, he lost his job. To earn money for family, he indulged in supply of illicit liquor and had been arrested several times with recovery of illicit liquor.

After that he was doing private job but to earn easy money, he indulged in the illicit liquor trade again.

FIR No. 113/25, dated 27/03/25, U/s 33/38/58(d) Delhi Excise Act, PS BHD Nagar, Delhi

🟡 *RECOVERY:-*

1. Total 40 Peti illicit liquor containing I.E. (2000 Quarters).

2. ⁠One TATA Indigo Car bearing No. DL-9CQ-XXXX used for transportation of illicit liquor.

Further investigation is being carried out to ascertain the source and supply network of illicit liquor.
