AN INTERNATIONAL DRUG SYNDICATE BUSTED, WITH ARREST OF 03 ACCUSED, BY THE TEAM OF ANTI NARCOTICS CELL, DWARKA DISTRICT.

•    STRIKING HARD ON THE INTERNATIONAL DRUGS SYNDICATE, 02 CANNABIS (GANJA) SUPPLIERS ALONGWITH LOCAL SELLER NAMELY RAJESH, KRISHNAN AND CHAUDHARY (GANJA SUPPLIER) ARRESTED. KRISHAN IS THE LOCAL SELLER.
•    HIGH QUALITY 176.996 KG CANNABIS (GANJA) RECOVERED FROM THEM.
•    CANNABIS (GANJA) WAS BEING OBTAINED FROM NEPAL & SUPPLIED IN INDIA VIA BIHAR, PUNJAB TO DELHI & NCR THROUGH TROLLEY BAGS IN TRAINS.
•    01 ACCUSED RAJESH IS PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN 05 CASES OF NDPS ACT & FOR OBSTRUCTION IN PUBLIC DUTIES. CASES PERTAIN TO CRIME BRANCH, PS RANHOLA & PS SADAR CUTTAK, ORISSA. 
•    ACCUSED RAJESH WAS PREVIOUSLY CONVICTED FOR 10 YEARS IMPRISONMENT & RS 1,00,000/- FINE IN CASE FIR NO. 287/2011, PS CRIME BRANCH, DELHI. HE CAME OUT FROM JAIL ON INTERIM BAIL ON 05.08.2023.

    INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION

Under the guidance of Sh. Ankit Singh, IPS, DCP/Dwarka District, Anti – Narcotics Cell/ Dwarka is striking hard on drug peddlers and is continuously working with the motto of making the capital a drug free zone.

During continuous monitoring on drug peddlers, HC Kuldeep No. 3258/PCR had received an information that huge quantity of Ganja is being supplied in trolly bags from Bihar through train and one person comes to supply Ganja in Dwarka District.

A dedicated team under the supervision of Sh. Ramavtar, ACP/Operations Cell headed by Inps. Subhash Chand - I/C Anti-Narcotics Cell/ Dwarka consisting SI Naveen Kumar No. D-683, ASI Dinesh Kumar No. 328/DW, HC Kuldeep No. 3258/PCR, HC Krishan No. 2715/W, HC Raju Ram No. 1946/DW, HC Gopal No. 471/DW, HC Yograj No. 951/CR, Ct Mukesh No. 1692/DW, Ct Shivram No. 3175/PCR, Ct. Rahul No. 1332/DW, Ct. Lokesh No 1361/DW was formed to trace the supplier of Bulk orders of Ganja in the area of Dwarka District.

It was disclosed that drug peddlers are obtaining Ganja from Bihar and Punjab. Acting swiftly on the information of supply of Ganja, on 23.05.2025 a raid was conducted near Dwarka metro station and one person namely Rajesh s/o Shiv Chander, R/o Jai Vihar, Harphool Vihar, Najafgarh, Delhi, aged 50 yrs was arrested with 6.067 kg Ganja.

In this regard, a case FIR No 106/2025, dt. 23.05.2025, U/s- 08/20 NDPS Act was registered at PS Dwarka North and investigation was entrusted to SI Naveen.

During personal search of the accused, 02  keys were recovered.

    INTERROGATION: -

During sustained interrogation, accused Rajesh disclosed that he had taken one flat on rent at JG block, Vikaspuri which was being used as Godown for storing Ganja. To avoid suspicion, the accused had taken a flat at the posh colony i.e. Vikaspuri, Delhi.

Accused further disclosed that he had obtained 300 Kg Ganja from Hoshiarpur, Punjab and he had supplied Ganja at various places in Delhi & NCR and remaining Ganja weighing 168.896 Kg Ganja was recovered from rented flat of accused at Vikaspuri, Delhi.

During further investigation, accused Rajesh disclosed that the supplier of Ganja namely Krishnanand Choudhary s/o Lt. Rajnath Singh, is residing at Hoshiarpur, Punjab and he is arranging supply of Ganja from Bihar via Punjab through train in trolly bags.

The received Ganja was being supplied in Hoshiarpur, Punjab and bulk orders were being supplied to Delhi through train in trolley bags. Hon'ble court had granted 07 days PC remand of accused Rajesh.

During PC remand of accused Rajesh, on his instance, the supplier of Ganja namely Krishnanand Choudhary s/o Lt Rajnath Singh was arrested from Hoshiarpur, Punjab on 26.05.2025. Accused Krishnanad Chaudhary has admitted about his involvement in arranging Ganja from Bihar via punjab for supplying in Delhi/NCR.

During further investigation, one local Ganja seller namely Krishan s/o Parkash, has been arrested from Indira Market, Najafgarh, Delhi and 2.033 Kg Ganja has been recovered from his house.

    CASE WORKOUT: -

FIR No. 196/2025, Dated 23.05.2025, u/s 08/20/29/31 NDPS Act, PS Dwarka North.

    PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS: -

1.    Rajesh S/o Shiv Chander, R/o Harphool Vihar, Nangli Dairy, Delhi Aged 50 Yrs.

He is actively involved in the peddling of Ganja. Accused was previously in 05 cases of NDPS And obstruction in public duties of Crime branch, Delhi, PS Ranhola and PS Sadar, Cuttak, Orissa. He came from jail on interim bail on 05.08.2023. He was convicted in case FIR No. 287/2011, u/s 08/20 NDPS Act, PS Crime Branch and was sentenced to undergo 10-year imprisonment and fine Rs. 1,00,000/- .  

Accused Rajesh is previously involved in the following FIRs:-

1) FIR No. 287/2011, u/s 08/20 NDPS Act, PS Crime Branch, Delhi.
2) FIR No. 212/2017, u/s 08/21 NDPS Act, PS Crime Branch, Delhi.
3) FIR No. 207/2017, u/s 08/20 NDPS Act, PS Ranhola, Delhi.
4) FIR No. 371/2018, u/s 08/20/31 NDPS Act, PS Crime Branch, Delhi.
5) FIR No. 2362/2017, u/s 224/342/186/353 IPC, PS Sadar Cuttuck, Orissa.

2.    Krishnanand Choudhary s/o Lt. Sh Ranjit Choudhary, R/o Village- Shuddin Chowk, Bhatta Bazar, District Purnea, Bihar, Aged 49 Years.

He was presently residing at Bhawani Nagar, Distt- Hoshiarpur, Punjab. He has no previous involvement.

3.    Krishan s/o Parkash, R/o Indira Market, New Anaj Mandi, Najafgarh, Delhi, Aged 32 Years.

He has no previous involvement. His brother-in-law namely Rishipal is running in JC in NDPS cases.

Further investigation is in progress and efforts are being made to trace the receiver of bulk orders of Ganja in Delhi/NCR area and also supplier of Ganja from Bihar.

    RECOVERY: -

HIGH QUALITY 176.996 KG CANNABIS (GANJA) RECOVERED FROM THEIR POSSESSION.
