⭕ *FROM GUNS TO GADGETS – AN ARMS ACT PROCLAIMED OFFENDER ARRESTED WITH HIS ACCOMPLICE, WITH RECOVERY OF 03 STOLEN MOBILES, BY THE TEAM OF ANTI-PO & JAIL BAIL CELL, DWARKA DISTRICT.*

🔰 “SIX-YEAR RUN ENDS! ARMS ACT PO FROM GURGAON CAUGHT STEALING PHONES IN DELHI.”

🔰 HALF A DOZEN STOLEN MOBILES RECOVERED IN RECENT DAYS  BY ANTI-PO & JAIL BAIL CELL/ DWARKA POLICE CRACK DOWN ON THIEVES.

🟡 *TASKING:-*

Under the able direction of DCP/Dwarka District - Sh. Ankit Singh IPS, the *Anti-PO & Jail Bail Cell, Dwarka District* was specifically tasked to intensify surveillance and enforcement action against Proclaimed Offenders.

In line with this directive, the team executed a swift and precise operation that led to the arrest of a Proclaimed Offender in a 06-year-old Arms Act case from Gurugram, who was found actively committing fresh crimes in Dwarka and nearby areas.

🟡 *TEAM & OPERATION:-*

A vigilant and technically skilled team of the Anti-PO & Jail Bail Cell, Dwarka District led by Insp. Manish Yadav, and overall supervision of Sh. Ram Avatar - ACP/Ops, Dwarka undertook the said assignment. The team included:

1. HC Kulwant (681/DW)
2. HC Mahesh Kumar (859/DW)
3. HC Pradeep (2088/DW)
4. HC Ajeet Yadav (1139/DW)
5. Ct. Jaideep

On 19.07.2025, specific input was received by HC Kulwant revealing that 02 active thieves were roaming in Dwarka. Acting swiftly, the team laid a trap near Sector-14 Metro Gol Chakkar, Dwarka and successfully apprehended the suspects.

🟡 *ARRESTED ACCUSED – PROFILES & BACKGROUND :-*

1. *Santosh S/o Patiram,* R/o Village Khaira, Najafgarh, aged 38 years.

*PREVIOUS INVOLVEMENTS:-* 02.

2. *Mohd. Amjad Khan @ Bittu S/o Fajlu Rehman,* R/o Inder Enclave, Ph-2, Kirari Suleman Nagar, Delhi, aged 36 years.

*PREVIOUS INVOLVEMENTS:-* 04

*PROCLAIMED OFFENDER IN:-*

- FIR No. 511/18, U/s 25/54/59 Arms Act, PS Sec 29 Gurugram.

- He had been absconding for over 06 years and was now caught indulging in mobile phone thefts.

🟡 *RECOVERY:-*

- 03 Stolen Mobiles recovered from their possession during arrest.

🟡 *CASES WORKED OUT:-*

1. e-FIR No. 80055495/25, U/s 303(2) BNS, PS Dabri.
2. e-FIR No. 80056284/25, U/s 303(2) BNS, PS Bindapur.
3. e-FIR No. 80008990/25, U/s 303(2) BNS, PS Bindapur.

They were arrested U/s 35.1(E) & (D) BNSS, PS Dwarka North.
