A GRUESOME MURDER CASE WORKED OUT & ACCUSED ARRESTED WITHIN 24 HOURS
    Mobile phone of accused, Clothes worn by the accused at the time of commission of crime and A half-burnt Royal Enfield motorcycle (DL-10SC0100) has been recovered.
BRIEF FACTS OF THE CASE:

On 29.06.2025, a PCR call was received at PS Narela vide DD No. 30A regarding an unidentified half-burnt dead body lying in an open field behind Bharat Mata School, near the Narela-Bawana Flyover. The information was promptly marked to ASI Narendra No. 301/OND, who reached the spot and found a young male deceased in a half-burnt condition. Key observations included protruding tongue, partially burnt clothing, and nearby signs of attempted concealment, including a half-burnt Royal Enfield motorcycle (DL-10SC0100) lying in bushes. The crime scene was meticulously examined by the Mobile Crime Team and FSL Team. During the spot inquiry, the deceased was identified as Kapil Dahiya @ Kartik, aged 19–20 years, by his father Mahipal, a resident of Swatantra Nagar, Narela.A case FIR No. 478/25 U/s 103(1)/238(b) BNS was registered at PS Narela.
TEAM, INVESTIGTION & OPERATION
On the instructions of DCP/Outer North, without causing any delay two dedicated teams comprising (1) ATO/Insp. MukeshKhata along with HC Naveen Dalal and Ct MohitLathwal& (2) Insp./Inv. Rajesh Kumar along with HC Balkishan, HC Ruchin and Ct Vipinrespectively were constituted under the leadership of SHO/Insp. Rajender Singh and supervision of ACP/Narela and overall supervision of Sh. Hareshwar V Swami, DCP/Outer North Distt. Acting swiftly on a secret information and with the assistance of technical surveillance, the police teams traced the suspect Sumit S/o Diwan Singh, aged 27 years, R/o Gali No. 18A, SwatantraNagar, from Haridwar, Uttarakhandand detained him within twenty four hours of the registration of the case.Upon sustained interrogation, the accused confessed his involvement in the brutal murder of KapilDahiya. He also disclosed the names of his co-accused i.e. Vishal & Harish and the motive behind the crime. He also revealed the identities of his co-accused, Vishal and Harish, along with the motive behind the crime. He explained that the deceased was his neighbor who frequently threatened and abused him and his elder brother. The accused further confessed that due to persistent death threats from the deceased, he became fearful for his safety. In order to protect himself, he along with his associates, decided to murder the victim.The accused further disclosed to get recovered the incriminating articles/evidences i.e. clothes worn by him and mobile phone used in the commission of crime and has been recovered at his instance. Efforts are being made to recover the mobile phone of deceased and arrest of co-accused Vishal and Harish. Accused is on two days police custody remand. 
RECOVERY :

1.    A half-burnt Royal Enfield motorcycle (DL-10SC0100) 
2.    A mobile phone of accused.
3.    Cloths worn by the accused at the time of commission of crime.

Further, investigation of this case is in progress and sincere efforts are being made to apprehend the absconding co-accused persons and recover the remaining evidences.This prompt action by the Narela Police Station reflects their dedication, vigilance and strong resolve in ensuring justice and maintaining law and order. The case detection within 24 hours has not only brought solace to the grieving family but also boosted public confidence in Delhi Police.
