👉🏼 *_Three Notorious thieves namely, Nadeem Ahmed @ Chhote (previously involved in 02 criminal cases), Zakir (previously involved in 11 criminal cases) and Rakesh @ Raj (previously involved in 14 criminal cases) arrested_*
👉🏼 *_35 stolen mobile phone worth more than Rs.5 lakhs recovered_*
👉🏼 *_The gang specifically targeted victims who were buying liquor at liquor shops_*

*INCIDENT AND TEAM*
Recently, incidents of mobile phone loss/theft had been reported near a liquor shop in Mansarovar Garden, PS Kirti Nagar. A dedicated team, comprising ASI Anil Kumar, HC Pradeep Kumar, and HC Pawan Maan, led by Inspector Sanjeev Dhodhi, SHO Kirti Nagar, under the supervision of Shri Vijay Singh, ACP Punjabi Bagh, has been formed to investigate and solve these cases.

*INVESTIGATION AND OPERATION*
A trap was laid and the team was successful in identifying a man stealing something from the complainant's pocket. Upon further tracking, it was discovered that he, along with two other persons, left the spot in an auto rickshaw. Following the manual and digital trail, the team apprehended Nadeem Ahmed. 
During interrogation, and based on his disclosure, the team arrested his two accomplices, Zakir and Rakesh @ Raj, and recovered 35 stolen mobile phones from their possession.

*INTERROGATION AND MODUS OPERANDI*
During interrogation, the trio confessed that they would steal phones and send them to a person named Adil, resident of Malka Ganj. Adil would pay them between ₹2,000 and ₹10,000, depending on the phone's quality, which they would split among themselves. They would spend some of the money on liquor and use the rest for personal expenses.

The accused individuals have a coordinated modus operandi, targeting customers who are purchasing liquor from liquor shops. Nadeem Ahmed distracted the customer while they are busy buying liquor. Zakir, taking advantage of the distraction, used to discreetly steal the customer's phone from their pocket and hand over the stolen phone to Rakesh, who used to leave the spot quickly.

*PERSON ARRESTED*
1. Nadeem Ahmed @ Chhote S/o Nasruddin R/o Akhare Wali Gali, Malka Ganj, Delhi, Age-45 years.  He has previously been involved in 02 criminal cases
2. Zakir S/o Mohd. Kasim, R/o Afghani Chowk, Wazirabad, Delhi, Age-35 years.  He has previously been involved in 11 criminal cases. 
3. Rakesh @ Raj S/o Lt. Devi Singh, R/o Shakti Nagar, Delhi, Age-48 years. He has previously been involved in 14 criminal cases.

*RECOVERY*
👉🏼 35 stolen luxury mobile phones worth more than Rs 5 lakhs

Further efforts are being made to connect remaining mobile phones to other cases and to arrest receiver Adil.
