✳️ *FOUR PROCLAIMED OFFENDERS (POs) WANTED IN GAMBLING ACT, SNATCHING & NI ACT CASES NABBED BY THE TEAMS OF PS VASANT VIHAR, PS SAROJINI NAGAR & OPERATIONS CELL, SOUTH WEST DISTRICT.*

✳️ *ONE OF THE ACCUSED SURAJ SINGH KUNWAR IS ALSO BC OF PS CHANKYAPURI, NEW DELHI DISTRICT*

✳️ *MANUAL & TECHNICAL SURVEILLANCE LED TO THE ARREST OF ACCUSED PERSONS.*

       The teams of PS Vasant Vihar, PS Sarojini Nagar & Operations Cell, South West District has arrested four proclaimed offenders namely *1. Mohd Shakil @ Guddu* R/o Goyla dairy, Delhi, Age 34 years, *2. Suraj Singh Kunwar* R/o East of Kailash, Delhi, Age 27 years, *3. Surender Singh Verma* R/o IIT Residential complex, Delhi, Age 58 years & *4. Mahender Singh* R/o Distt. Palwal, Haryana, Age 48 years.

*TEAMS, INFORMATION AND OPERATION:*
       Keeping in view of the pending cases of proclaimed offenders and to nab the absconding criminals, who are evading the process of law, different teams were constituted to nab the proclaimed offenders. The teams activated the secret informers and staff was deployed in the area to trace the offenders. The teams worked on technical and manual information to trace the proclaimed offenders. Four proclaimed offenders have been apprehended in following cases:

1. *FIR No. 231/18 u/s 12/9/55 Gambling Act, PS Sagarpur, Delhi* (Arrested by Operations Cell/SWD)

       On 04.06.2025, an actionable intelligence was received regarding the whereabouts of the proclaimed offender Mohd Shakil @ Guddu. Accordingly, a dedicated team comprising HC Narender Singh, HC Anil Kumar & HC Dileep was constituted under the supervision of Insp. Hari Singh and under the guidance of Sh. Vijay Kumar, ACP/Operation to nab the offender. Acting swiftly, the team conducted a strategic raid in Goyala dairy, Delhi & by showing great sense of responsibility and alertness successfully apprehended the offender *Mohd Shakil @ Guddu* who was declared as Proclaimed Offender (PO) in case FIR No. 231/18 u/s 12/9/55 Gambling Act, PS Sagarpur, Delhi by the Court vide order on 28.05.2025. Information was given to PS Sagarpur regarding arrest of accused person.

2. *FIR No. 78/19 u/s 356/379/34 IPC, PS Sarojini Nagar, Delhi.* (Arrested by PS Sarojini Nagar)

      On 04.07.2025, secret information was received regarding the proclaimed offender Suraj Singh Kunwar. Accordingly, a dedicated team comprising of HC Amarjeet, Ct. Mainpal, Ct. Praveen & Ct. Ajit was constituted under the leadership of Insp. Atul Tyagi, SHO/PS Sarojini Nagar and under supervision of Sh. Ranvir Singh, ACP/Safdarjung Enclave to nab the offender. Acting swiftly, the team conducted a strategic raid & by showing great sense of responsibility and alertness successfully apprehended the offender *Suraj Singh Kunwar* who was found declared as Proclaimed Offender (PO) in case FIR No. 78/19 u/s 356/379/34 IPC, PS Sarojini Nagar, Delhi by the Court vide order on 26.06.2025.

*PROFILE OF ACCUSED ARRESTED:*
      Accused Suraj Singh Kunwar r/o Garhi Amritpuri, East of Kailash, Delhi and also resident of Vinay Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, Age 27 years is previously involved in 04 criminal cases of snatching, theft, burglary and Arms Act registered at various police stations of Delhi. He is also *BC of PS Chanakyapuri*.

3. *Ct. Case No. 31980/16 u/s 138 NI Act,PS Vasant Vihar, Delhi* (Arrested by PS Vasant Vihar)

      A dedicated team comprising of HC Raj Kumar, HC Sandeep and HC Manish was constituted under the leadership of SHO/PS Vasant Vihar, Delhi to nab the proclaimed offenders. The team was tasked to arrest the absconders and wanted criminals. The team started collection of information about such offenders. On 09.06.2025, the persistent efforts and the technical surveillance by the crack team resulted in the arrest of one Absconder namely *Surender Singh Verma* from IIT Campus, Hauz Khas, Delhi who was found declared as Absconder/Proclaimed Offender (PO) in Ct. Case No. 31980/16 u/s 138 NI Act,PS Vasant Vihar, Delhi by the Court vide order on 06.06.2025.

4. *Ct. Case No. 1/117/2015 (37600/2016) u/s 138 NI Act, PS Vasant Vihar, Delhi* (Arrested by PS Vasant Vihar)

     A dedicated team comprising of HC Raj Kumar, HC Sandeep and HC Naresh Kumar was constituted under the leadership of SHO/PS Vasant Vihar, Delhi to nab the proclaimed offenders. The team was tasked to arrest the absconders and wanted criminals. The team started collection of information about such offenders. The persistent efforts and the technical surveillance by the crack team resulted in the arrest of one Absconder namely *Mahender Singh* who was found declared as Absconder/Proclaimed Offender (PO) in Ct. Case No. 1/117/2015 (37600/2016) u/s 138 NI Act, PS Vasant Vihar, Delhi by the Court vide order on 10.12.2024.
