Former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and 5 others have been named as Accused, after a man Singaiah was crushed under the his convoy vehicle and left bleeding on the highway, as per Disturbing viral video.

The incident occurred, when despite Police Restrictions ex-CM of Andhra Pradesh and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was traveling in a rally with his convoy alongwith nearly 35 additional vehicles and hundreds of supporters from Tadepalli to Sattenapalli on June 18, while police permitted only 3 additional vehicles with ex-CMs convoy.

A man named Cheeli Singaiah, died after the former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy ’s car hit him and ran over him and left bleeding on the highway.

When the convoy reached near the Anjaneya Swamy statue on the Etukuru bypass, under Nallapadu Police Station limits near Guntur city, the police received information about a road accident, they said. A man, identified as Cheeli Singaiah, was found with severe bleeding injuries and was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared brought dead, the police said.

Based on a complaint filed by the deceased’s wife, Cheeli Lurdhu Mary, a case was initially registered under Section 106(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Guntur SP Satish Kumar said:

After analysing various CCTV and drone footage, spot videos, as well as eyewitness accounts, the investigators confirmed that the victim came under the wheels of the former CM (YS Jagan Mohan Reddy) ’s vehicle. The case was then reclassified under Sections 105 and 49 of the BNS.

Six have been named as accused:

1) Ramana Reddy (Jagan car Driver)
2) YS Jagan Mohan Reddy (ex-CM)
3) K. Nageswar Reddy (Jagan's PA)
4) Y.V. Subba Reddy (ex-MP)
5) Perni Nani @ Venkateswara Rao (ex-minister)
6) Vidadala Rajini (ex-minister)

Legal proceedings are under way, the police added.
