*2 E-RICKSHAW AND BATTERY THIEVES, PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN AROUND 24 CASES, ARRESTED BY THE TEAM PP HARI NAGAR PS HARI NAGAR*

👉 *_Two accused persons namely Deepak @ Raju (previously involved in 17 criminal cases) and Keshav (previously involved in 07 criminal cases) arrested_*
👉  *_10 stolen car batteries and one stolen auto-rickshaw recovered_*

*INCIDENT*
On June 18, 2025, two calls were received at PS Hari Nagar regarding the theft of car batteries. On the same day, more car batteries were reported stolen in the MS Block area of Hari Nagar, Delhi. Based on these incidents, cases were registered at PS Hari Nagar, and an investigation was initiated.

*TEAM AND OPERATION* 
A team led by SI Vikrant Singh, I/C PP Hari Nagar, comprising HC Ghanshyam, Ct. Deepak, and Ct. Manish, was constituted to investigate motor vehicle theft cases under the close supervision of Insp. Ashu Girotra, SHO/PS Hari Nagar, and the overall supervision of Ms. Niraj Tokas, ACP/Rajouri Garden. During the investigation, the team reviewed CCTV footage from cameras installed at the scene and found that two persons had arrived in an auto-rickshaw, stole car batteries, and fled. The e-rickshaw used, was found to be stolen from PS Tilak Nagar. Based on technical and manual intelligence, the accused were identified as Deepak @ Raju s/o Late Mahesh r/o Mahindra Park, Janakpuri, Delhi, and Keshav s/o Sunil Kumar r/o Kalkaji Slum Quarters, Delhi. Both accused persons were later apprehended with the auto-rickshaw containing 10 car batteries. During sustained interrogation, they disclosed that they had stolen the batteries from the PS Hari Nagar area and were planning to sell them. Both accused persons have been arrested.

*RECOVERIES*
1. 10 stolen batteries of car.
2. One stolen auto rickshaw.

1. Deepak @ Raju S/o Late Mahesh R/o Mahindra Park, Janakpuri, Delhi.  He has previously been involved in 17 criminal cases and was released on bail on 10.01.2025. 
2. Keshav S/o Sunil Kumar R/o Kalkaji, Slum Quarter, Delhi.  He has previously been involved in 07 criminal cases and was released on bail on 18.01.2025.
