•    TWO BOOTLEGGERS ARRESTED BY ANTI-NARCOTICS CELL, CENTRAL DISTRICT.
•    ACTION TAKEN AS PART OF A FOCUSED DRIVE TO CURB ILLEGAL SALE OF LIQUOR & BOOTLEGGING.
•    LOCAL & FIELD INTELLIGENCE LEADS TO THE ARREST OF THE BOOTLEGGERS.
•    516 QUARTERS OF ILLICIT LIQUOR RECOVERED.
•    ACCUSED RAKESH  @ GUDDU IS FOUND INVOLVED IN 22 PREVIOUS CASES; DECLARED A HISTORY SHEETER OF PS NABI KARIM.


Team & Operation: -

A targeted operation was launched by the Anti-Narcotics Cell as part of an operation to curb illegal bootlegging activities in the area.

During the operation, credible information was received about two individuals—Monu @ Pawan (32), and Rakesh @ Guddu (30), both residents of Tel Mill Gali, Ram Nagar, Nabi Karim, Delhi—who were reportedly engaged in illegal liquor supply.


A raiding party was immediately constituted comprising SI Pankaj Kumar, SI Iftikhar, ASI Rajiv Tyagi, ASI Sunil, ASI Satish, HCs Rahul, Pradeep, Sachin, Manish, Rajiv, Karnal and CTs Rajesh, Deepak, Bhagirath under the supervision of Inspector Ashish K. Dubey and overall guidance of ACP Operations Suresh Khunga.

The team successfully apprehended the accused persons namely Mony @ Pawan & Rakesh @ Guddu and recovered 500 quarters desi liquor and 16 quarters of Royal Green illicit liquor from their possession.

The accused, Monu @ Pawan and Rakesh @ Guddu, are booked under the penal provisions of Delhi Excise Act. Preliminary investigation reveals that the accused Rakesh @ Guddu was previously involved in 22 cases and is a BC of PS Nabi Karim.

1.    Monu @ Pawan (Aged-32), R/o Tel Mill gali, Ram Nagar, Nabi Karim, Delhi
2.    Rakesh @ Guddu (Aged-30), R/o Tel Mill gali, Ram Nagar, Nabi Karim, Delhi

Recovery: -
1.    500 quarters of desi (country-made) liquor
2.    16 quarters of Royal Green illicit liquor
