GANG, ARRESTED BY NDR, WHO HAD FACILITATED THE ESCAPE OF GOGI FROM POLICE CUSTODY IN 
2016 

    PROCLAIMED OFFENDER IN MCOCA CASE OF PS ALIPUR  
    ACCUSED WAS GRANTED INTERIM BAIL BUT HE JUMPED 
INTERIM BAIL AND WAS DECLARED PROCLAIMED OFFENDER  


INTRODUCTION 

A dedicated team of Crime Branch, RK Puram led by Insp. Rampal along with SI’s Amit, Hemant Kumar, Parmod, Mukesh Singh ASI’s Siddharth, Ramdas, Ankit, Ombir, Narender, Sanjay, Amit HC’s Dharmender, Yashpal, Ankit and Ct’s Tejpal, Gaurav under the supervision of Sh. Umesh Barthwal ACP/NDR successfully apprehended one desperate criminal of Jitender Gogi Gang namely Mohit @ Panchhi r/o Village Panchhi Jatan, Ganaur, Sonipat, Haryana. Accused was granted four days interim bail, in connection with FIR No. 252/18, under Sections 3 & 4 MCOCA, PS Alipur, Delhi (being investigated by Special Cell) for his sister’s wedding in February 2025. However, he intentionally failed to surrender before the Hon’ble Court and was subsequently declared a Proclaimed Offender.  

INFORMATION & OPERATION: 

A specific secret information was received about Mohit @ Panchhi, indicating that he was frequently changing locations, was currently hiding in Goa, and was planning to commit further heinous crimes. 

This information was verified through ground-level intelligence, which confirmed the accused person’s movement. Acting swiftly on this input, a dedicated police team was dispatched to Goa to develop further actionable intelligence about the wanted criminal. It was also learned that the accused was using mobile phones far from his actual place of stay to avoid detection and was changing locations frequently. 

Due to the persistent and meticulous efforts of the team, a significant breakthrough was achieved on 04/07/2025, when the wanted accused Mohit @ Panchhi was successfully traced and located near Martyr Circle, North Goa. The raiding team acted decisively, promptly overpowering and apprehending the suspect without giving him any opportunity to flee. 

During initial interrogation, the accused disclosed his identity as Mohit @ Panchi, a resident of Village Panchhi Jatan, Ganaur, Sonipat, Haryana. He admitted that he had been declared a Proclaimed Offender in FIR No. 252/18 under Sections 3 & 4 of MCOCA, PS Alipur, Delhi (being investigated by Special Cell), after intentionally failing to surrender before the Hon’ble Court. 

PROFILE OF ACCUSED: 

The accused, Mohit @ Panchhi, is a hardened and desperate member of the notorious Jitender Gogi Gang. In 2016, he played a 
key role in orchestrating the violent assault on a Delhi Police escort team at Bahadurgarh, along with nine other associates, to facilitate the escape of gang leader Jitender Gogi from lawful custody. This brazen attack not only endangered police personnel but also demonstrated the gang’s organized and violent methods. A criminal case related to this incident was duly registered at Sadar Police Station, Bahadurgarh.  
The accused’s involvement in such a serious and planned offence clearly establishes his deep-rooted criminal association and his commitment to furthering the gang’s unlawful activities. Besides this, the accused has been involved in multiple other criminal cases on behalf of the gang. He was also arrested in 2018 in connection with an MCOCA case against the Gogi Gang. 
In February 2025, the accused was granted four days interim bail in the MCOCA case to attend his sister’s wedding but he intentionally didn’t surrender back. Since then, he had been evading arrest and was hiding in various locations in South India, particularly in Mumbai, Goa, and Karnataka.
