     " * SNATCHER NABBED BY ASB CELL / SHAHDARA DISTRICT WITH THE HELP OF CCTV FOOTAGE ANALYSIS  ; TWO SNATCHING CASES SOLVED, STOLEN MOBILE RECOVERED!"*

*BRIEF FACTS:-*

On 02.07.2025, a PCR call was received regarding the snatching of mobile phone from the lady complainant by two scooty borne miscreants at PS Krishna Nagar. It was also alleged that there were two persons on a scooty and they snatched mobile phone of the complainant.  On the statement of the complainant a case vide FIR No-158/2025 dated 02/07/2025, U/s- 304(2)/3(5) BNS PS Farsh Bazar was registered and the investigation of the case was taken up.

TEAM AND OPERATION:-
Keeping in mind the gravity of the offence, a dedicated team under the leadership of Sub Insp. Ajay Tomar (I/C ASB Cell/SHD), comprising of HC Sachin, HC Divya Vats, HC Navdeep, HC Rohit, HC Sonu, Ct Mahendra and Ct Saurav was constituted under the close supervision of Sh. Mukesh Walia, ACP/Ops/SHD.
After the case was registered, the team immediately swung into action and started relentless efforts to solve the case and nab the accused. More than 100 CCTV footages of the crime scene and the routes taken by the accused were scanned. The team also analyzed the ANPR cameras of the area in various clusters. The criminals were seen snatching on a white coloured Activa scooty. After this, the criminals left the Activa scooty in an abandoned condition near New Seema puri Gurudwara. After which the further route of the criminals was followed in which the criminals were seen going towards Sundar Nagri area. During CCTV analysis, the team received some clear pictures of the criminals. After this, the appearance of the suspects was shown to the secret informer and the identity of one suspect was ascertained. After continuous efforts, the team succeeded in identifying one of the accused as Rihan @ Nanhe Sundar Nagri, Delhi. After this, a raid was conducted at his residence but he was found absconding from his house. Thereafter, the accused Rihan @ Nanhe was nabbed from Sant Nagar Burari area using human and technical intelligence and the snatched mobile phone was recovered from his possession.

*INTERROGATION:-*

During sustained interrogation, accused Rihan alias Nanhe disclosed his involvement in this case and also confessed to another snatching incident committed in Seema puri area. He revealed the name of his accomplice as Warish @ Tahzeeb who is a resident of Sunder Nagri, Delhi. Warish's house was also raided but he was found absconding. During interrogation, it was also revealed that accused Naveen alias Vikas is a drug addict and started snatching to support his basic needs. He has recently come out from jail. Efforts are being made to trace the co-accused. Further investigation is being carried out.

    One snatched mobile phone.

2.    Case FIR No- 526/25 Dated 02/07/2025 U/s- 304(2)/3(5) BNS PS Seema puri, Delhi.]

PROFILE OF ACCUSED:-
     Rihan @ Nanhe R/O Sundar Nagri, Delhi, age-22 years.

PREVIOUS INVOLVEMENTS:-

Accused Rihan @ Nanhe found previously involved in 04 cases of snatching & Arms Act.
